Apparently, Dennis Rodman has more things to get off his chest. The NBA rebounding legend has just inked a deal to write his third autobiography documenting his life from 1998 to the present. The book, 'The Worm Returns,' will be co-authored by Jack Eisenhour and hit shelves later this year. The book follows 'Bad As I Wanna Be,' which sold 1 million copies, and 'Walk on the Wild Side.' Rodman turned 44 on May 13.

Will Donovan McNabb Be Cursed?

EA Sports has chosen Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb to appear on the cover of the Madden NFL 2006 video game. McNabb is honored to grace the cover, which is the most popular and best-selling sports video game franchise on the market.

“This is one of the top honors in the NFL -- you have truly made it when you are on the cover of Madden NFL Football,” McNabb said in a statement. “With the attention and changes they have made to the passing and the focus on the quarterback this year, it was worth the wait to be the cover guy and part of the EA Sports team.”

But will McNabb succumb to the Madden curse? For those unaware, a little history: John Madden Football (and later just Madden NFL) debuted on video game consoles in 1989 and carried Madden on the covers through 2000. For the Madden 2001 cover, EA Sports decided that it was a good time to feature athletes in order to boost sales, because well, the athletes are the stars.

After a dominating performance in Super Bowl XXIX and a 1,500-yard rushing year, Tennessee Titan running back Eddie George was chosen to grace the cover of Madden NFL 2001. That season, George went through his lowest productive season ever, rushing for less than 1,000 and suffering several injuries including a hard hit by Ray Lewis in the playoffs.

The following year, Daunte Culpepper appeared on the cover after playing in the NFC championship the previous season. In the middle of the following season he suffered a knee injury that caused him to miss five games and the playoffs.

For Madden NFL 2003, Marshall Faulk was the star after four straight 2,000-yard seasons. Then that season, he ran for only 818 yards, suffered an ankle injury, missed four games and the playoffs.

Everyone knows what happened to Michael Vick during the 2003-2004 season. Football fans attributed his broken leg, suffered in the preseason, to his appearance on the Madden NFL 2004 cover.

Is there really something more than music that brings Tweet and Missy Elliott together? Finally tired of refuting rumors that she and Elliott are lovers, Tweet gives the scoop on why she's able to easily ignore the trash talk these days.

Last year, Lewis appeared on the cover of Madden 2005, and although he didn’t have a season-ending injury, he did break his wrist missing the last game of the season. Lewis, the first defensive player on a Madden cover, basically had an off year with no interceptions or sacks all season.

Will McNabb suffer the same fate? Philly fans certainly hope he breaks the curse and competes for the Vince Lombardi trophy once again.

Melo Plans Mellow Summer

While Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets was making headlines last summer riding the pine at the Olympics and getting in all sorts of trouble with weed in his bag, fights in the clubs and an appearance in a drug dealer-sponsored DVD, this year he says he plans to just work out. After being ousted from the playoffs by the San Antonio Spurs, Melo has few plans this summer. In the coming months he will participate in a public service announcement to help curtail drug dealing and violence in his old ‘hood of West Baltimore with Maryland Gov. Robert L Erhlich.

"His actions will show that he is serious about what is happening in his community and around the country," Anthony’s agent, Calvin Andrews, told the Denver Post. Anthony may also participate in the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders camp that heads to China this year, but he said he will mostly work on his conditioning and keeping his weight down.

New York Giants linebacker Michael Strahan has his hands -- and stomach -- full this off-season. According to the New York Post, Strahan will be spending much of the summer promoting his new line of porcine products, Michael Strahan Master Grill Foods. The line of foods will feature “pork wings” and St. Louis-style ribs he calls “bacon steak.”

Regarding the "pork wings," Strahan told the Post, "You hold it just like a chicken wing, but it's a lot bigger. It gives you a greater amount of meat. It's tasty. It's great for tailgating and barbecuing. [About the ribs], I call it bacon steak. It's a very thick cut. You don't need eggs with it. This is truly a meal."

For you health-conscious folks who are concerned about indulging in his porky offerings, Strahan has a piece of advice: "So long as you exercise, you should be able to eat whatever you want."
