Lisa Leslie - U.S., Basketball
Family: Married to pilot Michael Lockwood, their daughter Lauren Jolie Lockwood was born in 2007. Bejing marks the fourth Olympics at which Leslie will go for the gold.

LaShinda Demus - U.S., Track & Field
Family:Mother of twin boys born in 2007, Duaine and Dontay. Demus won gold at the 2005 World Championships in the 400m hurdles.

Chaunte Howard - U.S., Track & Field
Family: Married to fellow athlete, Mario Lowe, their only child, daughter Jasmine was born in 2007. Her comeback from her pregnancy was challenging, but she made the 2008 Olympics team.

Oksana Chusovitina - Germany, Gymnastics
Family:
Son Alisher was born in 1999. Chusovitina won a bronze medal for the vault at the 2006 Worlds. At 33, she is competing in her fifth Olympic games.

Robyn Ah Mow-Santos - U.S., Volleyball
Family:Hawaii native is married to member of the U.S. Armed Forces Niobel Rafael Santos. Their son, Jordan Nohili Ah Mow Santos, was born in 2003. The Bejing games are her third straight Olympics.

Family: Married to Mark Deniz, they have one son, Chase. Nuveman is already a two-time Olympic gold champion in softball.
