Bishop  T. D. Jakes,  voiced  "HIS"  outrage  at  THIS  tragedy,  when  "HE"  questioned......,  'How  Amerian  have  the  mean  to  address  the  NEEDS  of  our  foriegn  countries...,  yet  FAILED  to  be  of  HELP  to  our  OWN  !!!

Plus  "WE"  are  volunteering  relentlessly  in  EVERY  area  of  'our'  lives  to  fill  in  th  GAP,  inwhich  "YOUR" 'Government'  failed  our  FAMILIES  and  FRIENDS. 

Will  the  President  invite  Bishop  T. D. Jakes  to  the  TABLE  to  discuss  this  travesty ??? 

Sometimes...,  one  has  to  KEEP  an  intelligent  demeanor  to  UNCOVER  the  hidden  agendas,  so  intelligently  HIDDEN  in  'our'  society  today  !!!

I just read your response about TD Jakes and would like to say something. He is a man of God and any brother of Christ does not deal in emotion and will never give his or her opinion. A true child of God would guard himself from any attack of the enemy with the Word of God. It is all apart of being Chirstian. Jesus tells us to expect trials, tribulations as well as persecutions. Jesus had these things done to him first and because he is perfect he was able to with stand them as well as conquer sin and death so his children might live and have life more abundantly. Bishop Jakes was truly in the image of God when he gave that response because the worst thing he could have done was to respond to the roar of the enemy. Which would have been a sign of his emotions/flesh(weakness) on Jakes part. Which would have ended up as warfare with the enemy.

Rappers are entertainers who rap about what they see daily, and they have to do it in a whitty and catchy manner in order for people to buy their music. Peple like T D Jakes are constantly telling people how to live correctly on daily basis, and most of them turn out to be frauds. At least if Jay Z or Diddy gets in an altercation that is expected, because they aren't preaching about what is right or wrong, but what is happening out on the streets.

A lot of rappers are broke, because they are robbed by church going people who run record labels, remember that. 

This is one time I agree with you. In a time like this it is every man for himself.

TD Jakes has also stepped to the plate..He was Baton Rouge today visiting one fo the shelters...He is also taking some of the EVACUEES to the Potters House.

Jesse Jackson has been in Baton Rouge practically all week......as of today, he was still here. He and Senator Cleo Fields took 3 buses on Thursday and went in New Orleans to evacuate people while 65 buses were lined up because the drivers were ordered not to go in...Did any of you hear about that?  (Jesse/Cleo) Probably not...they are both black. They rescued all of the Xavier and Dillards students and teachers. Went in, no one shot at them...only problems they had was the flooded areas and on their way out, a lot of the victims made a human gate around the bus begging them to take them too. They promised them they would be back..and they did...the next day went in with 7 buses....Seems like it took those two to get the actual evacuation started.

Bottom line is...the Blacks that are doing positive things to help the evacuees, u will probably not hear about it..So please, lets not assume that they are not something to help. :-)

T D Jakes told Black people to vote for Bush! 

Why  did so many black preachers and ministers tell their followers to vote for George Bush, and why did so many  Black people follow their directive? Bush was partying when poor black boys were dying in Vietnam. He has no problem sending your boys to fight once again in another war but he won't rescue  black people from dying on American soil. Were these ministers paid  by Republicans to sell out their own people.  How and why did they convince people of color to vote for a man who is anti affirmative action, anti-poor people and even craps on the middle class.  Did you hear what his mother said today??  She expressed that the people in the Astro Dome were better off now because they were poor and had lived in the ghetto.  Did she think they were sleeping with 20,000 other people in New Orleans?  No wonder the president has no empathy, his parents don't have any either.

Here is something that has given me food for thought. I hope people will forward it to everyone they know, especially those folk who are under the influence of religious pimp ministers who would sell out for a plane and a fancy car paid for by poor members of their congregation. These people preach prosperity above morality and we wonder why the Black community is strugling.

Is it true that you encouraged your church members to vote for George Bush? Then you are in league with the prince of darkness and you will certainly face the wrath of God.  Why did you do it?  Because he or the Republican party gave you money or support to sell out Black people.  Was it because he said he believed in life and wanted to protect the institution of marriage?  Were two issues used to dupe you worth leading your people to wander in the wilderness for 100 years worth it.  You have supported a man who was a drunk until he was 40, who evaded the war in Vietnam while thousands of young poor men, especially black men died in disproportionate numbers on blood soaked hills killing people that never did a thing to them. At the time, Bush was having a party and showing up for guard duty…some of the time.  You used the lord to encourage people to vote for a man whose concern is the rich and the   powerful and who wants to change social security for the normal people while cutting taxes for the rich and protecting the inheritance of  their generation and class. Much of that wealth stolen and built on the backs of poor people.  Some how you convinced weak people to ignore John Carey, a man who was a war hero, an advocate for the poor even though he is rich just as the Kennedy family fought for civil rights and the poor.  Why?  Why would you support a man who would dishonor the poor, appoint judges that would vote against civil rights under the cover of conservatives politics?  You are educated, and you must surely know that conservative right wing rhetoric cover is just a new white robe with a pointed hat.  It’s racism with a smile and a thank you?  Why would you lead your people to the devil?  The Bible says the meek shall inherit the earth.  Why are you standing in God’s way.

 

And another thing, God is not a corporation.  So knock it off. To those of you flying around in jets that are paid for with God’s money, pasturing churches in more than one city, shame on you.  Many of the people who are paying for your fancy cars and your life style can’t even pay their bills. You are nor evident in your community.  You are not doing God’s work.  Babies are being born out of wedlock and Black men and women are not being taught to respect themselves and one another…but you got a fancy car and some other materialistic goodies.  When was the last time that you and your kind stood up to build centers for black kids where they could receive love, mentoring, tutoring in their studies, a safe place to go without fear of being shot at, where some one tells them they can be or do anything where they are taught by EXAMPLE that things are not what you value.  They can’t get that from men of the cloth who preach prosperity over people.

 

 

I don’t care if you throw this away and pretend that you never saw it. God knows and sees all.  He sees you.  I don’t live in Detroit any more, but I grew up there. It is a city I love and I hate what has happened to it.  When I was growing up, ministers and preachers were usually people who stood for the right things.  Oh don’t get me wrong, you religious pimps have always existed and I expect that those who have long since died now spend eternity in darkness for what they did on earth.  A car, fancy house and small jets just are not worth your soul.

 

You along with George Bush are responsible for the misery and death in New Orleans and the gulf coast.  You supported a president who just doesn’t care.  He has been rich and pampered all of his life, which is no excuse.  There are rich people with a conscience, but remember the Bible tells you that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven.  Now the Prince of Darkness is going to appoint judges that will reverse years
