Bad pick..BIden dosnet bring in any states and exposes Obamas lack of foriegn policy experience, and is directly counter to his change message..Only people who likes him are people who were going to vote for Obama anyway..He does nothing for us independents or mod. conservatives...I expect undecided voters start trickling over to McCain if he chooses a fresh face like Romeny..

Bad pick..BIden dosnet bring in any states LMAO@ "dosnet(sic) bring in any states" Ed Rendell will be on the campaign trail Sunday morning because of his closeness and appreciation of Biden. So, we KNOW that because of Biden Sen. Obama can put Pennsylvania in the WIN column TODAY!! Puhleese don't fool yourself into believing that Ohio won't go the way of PA!! and exposes Obamas lack of foriegn policy experience, now THAT is flat out funny..ANY thinking person knows a presidential candidate shores up the areas where he lacks experience. The Biden pick doesn't "expose" anything other than Sen. Obama's understanding that he was deficient in that area and NOW it has been taken care of <smdh> and is directly counter to his change message..The CHANGE is Sen. Obama..and Sen. Biden brings fewer political problems than any other potential choice. The elephant people are going to try to slap him abou5t some speeches 20 years ago when he lifted some of the quotes from an Englishman's speech. That is the best they will be able to do. And IF they go there, watch the Dems start talking about the litle man from Arizona being part of the Keating Savings &Loan scandal..so you tell us which was worse>Only people who likes him are people who were going to vote for Obama anyway..He does nothing for us independents or mod. conservatives...I expect undecided voters start trickling over to McCain if he chooses a fresh face like Romeny..Your expectations are grossly flawed

Biden is a self-proclaimed "Zionist" how has "zionism" helped Black people in any part of the diaspora, hmmmm? Seems like a strange question, Thok. Biden's declaration of his "Zionism" has to do with his strong support for Israel and its right to exists, something not fully endorsed by some of the country's neighbors. Obama has also expressed strong support for Israel. In fact, American foreign policy in the Middle East has been pro-Israel for generations, so I don't believe there will be any major shift in policy whether Obama or McCain is elected president. LMAO@ "dosnet(sic) bring in any states" Ed Rendell will be on the campaign trail Sunday morning because of his closeness and appreciation of Biden. So, we KNOW that because of Biden Sen. Obama can put Pennsylvania in the WIN column TODAY!! Puhleese don't fool yourself into believing that Ohio won't go the way of PA!! PA should go to Obamas way whether he picked Biden or not, polls are close but it seems to be that way all the time. It trends democrat near election day. This happened durning the last 4 major elections there. As an Ohio native I can assure you Obama kissed my state goodbye when he didnt pick Hillary. Ohio is a conservative state, our current Democratic gov is conservative the only democrat who can win there on a national level is Clinton. She is a rock star there. McCain is far enough to the left to get alot of Ohio democrat votes ANY thinking person knows a presidential candidate shores up the areas where he lacks experience. The Biden pick doesn't "expose" anything other than Sen. Obama's understanding that he was deficient in that area and NOW it has been taken care of. The McCain campaign will spin it that it exposes his inexperience. They are already beating these drums on the Fox News Network. Plus theyve already made commericals on it . The CHANGE is Sen. Obama..and Sen. Biden brings fewer political problems than any other potential choice. The elephant people are going to try to slap him abou5t some speeches 20 years ago when he lifted some of the quotes from an Englishman's speech. That is the best they will be able to do. And IF they go there, watch the Dems start talking about the litle man from Arizona being part of the Keating Savings &Loan scandal..so you tell us which was worse Dont forget about the speech Obama stole from Governor Patrick Deval, the "just words" speech. So they have a twofer..I can see a very effective ad if they lumped them together as plagerizers. But Biden voted for the war and is the "ultimate insider". I personally see it going against his message of change. There are many ways the repubs can tackle this team..Keating Five is a problem for McCain and him cheating on his wife but obama has painted himself as being "above" petty politics so I dont even know if he'll go there. |

Well it's official Senator Obama will be the
next president of the United States of America and Senator Joseph Biden
will be vice president, Im loving it.
I thought that too before last week's debate, or whatever you'd call it - identical interviews in tandem. I thought McCain clearly trounced Obama - showing himself to be an experienced leader capable of handling the problems that face America. Obama, as glib and fluid as he was, came off looking like the comparatively inexperienced candidate that he is. And watching Biden's speech yesterday, I was struck by the fact that all the ills he cited were either already made worse by Democratic policies, or likely would be. Foreclosures? Bad thing, but what's the Democratic solution - to bail them out, drowning the nation in debt, encouraging it to happen all over again? Anyone can bitch and moan about problems in the world or nation, but "change" doesn't necessarily cure them, and it could well make them worse. |

WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS? White people vote "morality". They want the country to be more religious. Safety means nothing to them. George bush didn't kick back in 2004. He let Osama bin Ladin bomb the hell out of us in 2001, but went directly after Saddam Hussein for the express purpose of erasing his father's mistake. There was / are no American safety issues involved in invading and lingering in Iraq. |

I thought McCain clearly trounced Obama - showing himself to be an experienced leader capable of handling the problems that face America. If being simplistic and repetitive constitutes "experienced" leadership then Mccain certainly got that down. But after eight years of Bush if the country hasn't learned that quick, easy, and simple just ain't realistic, then we never will. Obama was thoughtful, reflective, and he didn't know everything or try to come across that he did. THAT'S the kind of leader you want. If there's one thing I personally learned from Bush is that people who are too sure of themselves scare the crap out of me. And it's clear that Mccain has adopted the Bush model of getting himself elected. And yet, you may be right, Americans might let themselves get fooled again. I hope not but it just might happen. |

HEY IF OBAMA WON'T HELP HIS OWN BLOOD BLACK BROTHER WHAT MAKES YOU THINK HE'S GOING TO HELP YOU AND YOUR BLACK BROTHERS? Italian Vanity Fair recently tracked down one of Barack Obama's half-brothers in a shanty town outside Nairobi. The man, George Hussein Onyango Obama, is the son of Barack's absentee father (also named Barack), about whom the Illinois senator wrote the book Dreams of my Father. George Hussein is mentioned briefly in the book, and Obama has never made a secret of the fact that he has half-brothers with whom he is not in close contact. But George Hussein's story is one of poverty and violence — he lives on less than one dollar a month and has scars from fighting for his own safety. "I live like a recluse, no one knows I exist," he told the magazine. "If anyone says something about my surname, I say we are not related. I am ashamed." |
