First of all, accept my condolences for your tragic loss, also, know that I appreciate your unselfishness in sharing your pain with others who too may be feeling depressed; no one can and should say; "move on"...grief is personal and felt over many levels at many a time...may I share a few poems on death and loss: The Mourning of Our Night by Jeff Pierce
She went in the night drifting off and out of sight The still was deafening and the quiet crushing That was the day she was set free Having made her peace and having said goodbye to grief
Her sad eyes sparkled as she squeezed out one last smile It had been a long, tiresome journey, but, this was alas the last mile Oh, how folks who once denied death, now accept it with open eyes Curtains rise and curtains fall on morning and evenings
In the “afternoon sun of a life” some curtains are drawn As our tears flow free emotions sink like stones and rise as if steam What a flood of sorrow that chokes laughter and glee We have been taken captives and she has been set free In this the mourning of our night totally unprepared to bear The weight of defeat; doves shall not fly with torn wings and cement feet For now all our warmth and love have become but a memory In this the mourning of our night Death slipped in and avoided our watchful eyes We thought we would be strong and were willing to fight The blow that we tensed our bodies to receive Was far more callous and relentless than one could have conceived ...[Message truncated]

Hello, You're quite welcome! Yes, I agree that we need a forum where we can put it all out there...well, we all have each other. Not all poets here care enough to share; some are like greedy men who get their's and then roll over (they post their "masterpieces") and care not to read or reply to other's tales.
