Organic Natural Products for Black Hair(6)
|
Hi, My hair is 100% percent natural and I am in the process of healing my hair and scalp from years of chemicals and harsh styling. Because of the abuse with the chemicals and styling I have suffered from alepecia. I am also learning that my scalp is as sensitive as the rest of my skin. When I use products based in petroleum among other chemicals and harsh shampoos, my scalp is irritated. Do any of you know of any All Natural, Organic Prodcts that can treat Alepecia? I have tried the Morroco Method Products and they tend to dry my hair out. My texture is not course, but it does tend to get dry. Have any of you heard of Fabric Naturals hair products? If not, please let me know of any all natural products I can use, such as essential oils, shampoos, conditioners, etc. that have worked for you. I desperately want to take care of it the natural way, I have already started with my diet and my face has done a complete 180 degree turn using Nassab's all natural black soap and shea butter, which can be found at nassab.com. Please help my with my hair and scalp, any info you have will be of great help. BTW, I have been to doctors an specialist and feel like I might be better off trying on my own. |

A few years ago, my daughter had a bald spot in the top of her head. I used Organic Root Stimulator Hair Serum. Of course, ORS products are not really organic, but it worked wonders for her hair. You may want to try rosemary essential oil. Melt your shea butter in the microwave for a few seconds, and add a few drops to it. Rosemary e.o. is known to stimulate hair growth. You can buy it at a local health food store or try www.fromnaturewithlove.com . But also note, rosemary is not good if you're prone to high blood pressure. Ylang-ylang is another essential oil that is known to stimulate hair growth. Also, try Burt Bee's Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar. It will clean your hair without drying it out.

Thanks for the look out on the products ladies. I really wish other black women come to the realization that years of harsh products has is a part of the problem that a lot of black women have with their hair. By the way asecret2share, the salon from the website that you infromed me of is in my home town, I am going to check it out.

The E'tae products are really good! I've used the Carmel before and I saw improvement in my hair the first time that I used it. I also got the Watershine gloss.....it shines your hair without making it greasy!
I ordered on line......www.ETAEPRODUCTS.com |

I would get real familiar with butter and oils and start making some yourself. Like fingerprints, there isn't a product that will work for everyone. Plus you might be allergic to certain essential oils in certain organic products.
