I just finished reading " Red Scarlet" by Walter Mosely.  I am now about to read " Death of Innocence" by Mamie Till Mosely.

Well been behind on my reading since running around everwhere for days but, finished Blinking Red Light by Mister Man Frisby and now starting on a Erotice black fiction book called Brown Sugar by Carol Taylor and may also get started on What's Done in the Dark by Goloria Mallette hoping thats good.

Lesa

I'm reading "72 Hour Hold" by Bebe Moore Campbell.  Quite interesting.  It's about a woman dealing with her 18 year old daughter who is bi-polar.

an invite to read relentless Aaron's Best Sellers

www.relentlessaaron.com

Have you seen the new appearance of www.relentlessaaron.com ? Have you heard all the news relating to Relentless Aaron's new film/TV/DVD venture? Have you seen the Tuesday edition of the New York Times? Have you seen the various feature interviews that Relentless has produced for Google Video?

Alright now! Stay Relentless as possible and stay abreast of the biggest news to hit Hollyhood! You snooze, you loose!

Renowned Hollywood actor, director and producer, Bill Duke & pioneer author & publisher, Relentless Aaron agreed on a joint venture that will usher in... New York Times (Tues, Feb 14th, 2006/Arts & Leisure Section) RelentlessAaron's Journey From Prison to a 4-Book Deal...Google Video/Relentless Aaron ... and of course, the Video Ipod project.

I just finished reading "Not Without Laughter" by Langston Hughes.

"We younger Negro artists who create now intend to express our individual dark-skinned selves without fear or shame.  If white people are pleased we are glad.  If they are not, it doesn't matter.  We know we are beautiful.  And ugly too.  The tom-tom cries and the tom-tom laughs.  If colored people are pleased, we are glad.  If they are not, their displeasure doesn't matter either.  We build our temples for tomorrow, strong as we know how, and we stand on top of the mountain free within ourselves." Langston Hughes--The Nation ("The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain")

I love Benice McFadden!  Do you know if she has anything new on the shelf?
That was a good book. I just finished Sex.Lies.Murder.Fame the new Lolita Files. It is hot! She flips the script with this book because her main characters are white. I think this one is her best book yet.

she does have a new one either out now or coming soon.....just check with amazon. com ...type in her name and it will come up....peace

I just read an excellent read entitled One Last Try by Tanya Moss. OLT was infused with hip hop culture, love, revenge and romance. The story was based in the early to mid ninties. Reminds me of Higher Learning and School Daze.

Very good book....try Terry Mcmillan's "Mamma" if you haven't already read it.   Also, very good.  Similar to "The Coldest Winter Every".  You will enjoy it...trust me.
