Jada, Out of anything you do, have your book edited for grammer, punctuations, and APA style. With many people looking down on self-publishing authors, we have to put our best foot forward. The editing and typesetting will be key, when it come being taken serious. If you're interested, I can refer you to my editor. Hello, I published my first book through Xlibris.com. My total cost was $900. If your book is not completed now, the payment can be paid in three installments. They also offer editing services for a fee. I had my son and my sister proofread for me. The package also included 20 paperback copies and 2 hardcovers. The book was copyrighted for me and all copyrights are in my name. They even offer galleys for a fee, so you can shop your book around. |
