How could anyone leave Lola Falana off this list?  She is top 10 easily.  I give you credit for getting Jayne Kennedy, but to leave Lola off invalidates your list.

Halle's okay, but in all reality she does not stand out as being that sexy! In the black community she is average looking girl, and it's many sisters walking around cities all over that blow Halle away when it comes to being sexy. To me it is the white community that sweats Halle!

Lena Horne was sexy! Halle's not even close to Lena's level, and Lena came along during a time when media did not cover blacks because of racism. Lena was so sexy that many popular white actresses had to take a back seat to being covered by mass media because of her demand by white people wanting to see her. Which was unheard of at that time because "white women were seen as the fairest of them all." I give Halle her respect due for making it in a very tough career of acting in a very bias hollywood in todays world. Halle is far from the sexiest actress of all time. Maybe Halle could make the top 20 sexiest actresses.The main point is that there's so many fine, and sexier sister that should come before Halle.cool

How could you do a list like this and not have LISA NICOLE CARSON!!!!!!! HANDS DOWN SHE IS ONE OF THE SEXIEST ONSCREEN HOT TAMALES--AS WITNESSED BY JASON'S LYRIC AND DEVIL WEARS A BLUE DRESS.

NO, you are not! It is abundantly racist! Primarily because of choice wording. If the aricle read "Top 30 Sexiest BLACK Actresses of All-Time", then it would have some integrity... But as it reads, it is uncontestably racist!!! It is a particular shame, because it reflects that even though we have grown enough to elect a black President, MANY still hold pathetic ethnocentrisic views!

As far as one of the sexiest Black actresses go, I think you need to redo this list and add Lena Horne period. And, even though this is Black Voices, maybe you should have been more specific so that we don't have to get inot the "racist" thing...........It only takes one!!!!!!

I DON'T THINK THERE IS NO ONE SEXIEST ACTRESS, BY WHAT MEASURE DO U COME TO THIS CONCLUSION. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT ALL OUR BLACK FEMALES  WHO ARE PUT INTO A SEXY ROLE  WILL PERFORM WELL. THE ONES YOU HAVE CHOSEN AND THE ONES YOU SURELY FORGOT ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL . NO ONE MALE WOULD SAY NO TO DATE ANY ONE OF THEM, AND ANY WOMEN WOULD LOVE TO BE ONE FOR A DAY OR MORE. I never thought Halle was that pretty.  I don't even think she's as pretty as some white actresses.  I just don't see it.

Half breeds!???  Excuse me "WISEBLACKBROTHA" but whose bringing all of these "half breeds" into this world?  Uh, hello, Halle's DADDY WAS BLACK.  If you so called black men wouldn't just seek out white and asian women, then you can't complain about half breeds.

Halle didn't sell out.  She dated one sorry black man after another and she finally found a man that loves and respects her.  I don't blame her because I'm tired of lazy, wimpy black men myself and am looking outside of my race...not diligently...but if it happens, it happens until you brothers step up and do your job instead of expecting a woman to take care of you and justify infidelity as "just being a man."

Just because Halle is half black - half white, doesn't take away from the fact that she is still beautiful and she doesn't hesitate to accept her BLACK heritage.

Pam Grier all the way...did you know that she was in Roots the Next Generation?...Her character was somewhat of a floozie but even then you couldn't help but notice how fine she was...She was the type of chick that if you were sitting next to Halle Berry in a bar you would tap her on the shoulder and be like excuse me could you get that woman right over there for me...Last week I bought a DVD with her and Fred Williamson (I think that's the guy) called Bucktown...I also ordered this DVD that from what I hear is like a modern day version of Foxy Brown...The movie is called Golddigger Killer...winking
