I agree. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but it is that mentalty that destroyed the world.

It has nothing to do with religion it's the fact that we don't talk to others who disagree with us.

We will beat those over the head who do not conform to our way of thinking.

It's not that the lib pov is more important than the conservative, the conservtive pov usually benefits a small similiar group of people.

The conservatives though I like some of the things they have to say they lose me when it comes to social issues.

Sadly not every one gets the same chances and opportunities in life and they compare everyone as if that is so.

For many social programs are needed at least for a short while and the idea that you should do everything on your own when it is well known everyone who is successful has had some help along the way is hypocritical.

Whether it be daddy's trust fund, wifey's money, or dare I say it white skin (please don't make this a racial issue I'm jut staing a mere fact) you have some help.

America is made up of middle and lower class people who no matter how much they make are always a paycheck from losing everything.

So when they preach against social programs they preach against a large segment of society and that's whne many tune them out.

They keep saying we don't care about you only about us and our tax cuts.

So they're saying we don't want to give back to socierty thogh we've taken out so much.

That's why they will never getback in officeuntil they change that way of thinking.

I saw the pundit discussions being an effort to dissuade any accusations of racism, bias, or prejudice.

Pres. Obama's address I thought was well delivered and that he handled the incident of the protest heckler well.
