FINDLAY, Ohio (May 8) - A student at a fundamentalist Baptist school that forbids dancing, rock music, hand-holding and kissing will be suspended if he takes his girlfriend to her public high school prom, his principal said.
Despite the warning, 17-year-old Tyler Frost, who has never been to a dance before, said he plans to attend Findlay High School's prom Saturday. Skip over this content
Tough Decision: High school senior Tyler Frost wanted to take his girlfriend to her prom. But his fundamentalist Baptist religious school, which frowns on dancing and rock n' roll, told Frost he would be suspended if he went, and would not be able to participate in graduation ceremonies. Ain't much going on with the boards either...trolls and racist threads (as per usual)...LOL!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! I should take my black ass to bed--I'm up doing laundry and watching music videos. I have to have my son up by 6:45 to go on a boy scout trip. What that boy does aftet school (as long as he ain't killin nobody) should be hus business. And HE'S taking HER to HER prom! I would hate to see what they call a prom. And WHATCHU doing up?!? LOL!!! |

Chile, I fell asleep right after watching the season finale of "Everybody Hates Chris" (and it may not be back next season...it was a truly wack ending - modeled after the Sopranos ending...) - so my sleep got all messed up...LOL!
Anyway, back on topic...if the boy's parents know he's taking the girl to her prom, and THEY'RE okay with it, then the school shouldn't have a damned thing to say about it! They're overstepping their authority... |

Ok, now. You have just confirmed that you're certifiable !!! LOL!!! But i think that he or his family signed some stupid contract that stated that he would not be able to participate in such things. That makes no sense to me. If I were them I would sue. I may not win but that would prove to them that they can't do this and think that everyone would follow like lemmings into the sea. Who knows what kind of hell those teachers and administration are raising at home when they get off the job, ya know? |
