I'm sorry if this is already posted but what are your thoughts about Lisaraye's recent statement to the media. In the video she was talking about the rape and the Premier's erratic behavor over the weekend at the music festival. The burning questions here are. If the domestic dispute didnt happen over the wekend then what is Lisa talking about? What are her plans for TCI after her marriage is officialy over?

I think that this is a matter of when this interview took place. I would think that it was before the fight. As she states, 'this past weekend. . . . . ' so this interview could've been on Monday, Tuesday & then the shyt starting hitting the Fan on Wednesday & today. I'm sure word got back to the Premier about this interview. . . . . . . . These two are waaaayyyy too emotional now to even try to work anything out with their separation & impending divorce proceedings. They need Prayer & to work thru their attorney's until the emotions are in check. IMO! Then she making T& C her home after the fact, well, I don't know about that. At least until all the other corruption, etc charges are thru taking it's course against the Premier. . . . . . .Then afterwards, it may be good for her to just stay there & she should get her daughter from wherever she sent her off to too. I couldn't or wouldn't have put my child before a Man in my life that's not his or her Father. Men after that will accept the package. Mother & Child/Children. . .

Thanks for posting that. I had not seen it. The whole situation is really sad. I wonder how things got so bad so quick b/t them? It sounds like like the man is just a low life dog. Even if he wanted out of the marriage, there are ways to do that with decency and respect for yourself as well as the other party.

Wonder who bailed her out of jail or is she still in there. . . . . Or do they have bail there? I know some islands & other countries don't do bail/hearings & the like. . . . .U busted with a crime U go before a judge & get your sentence. No Jury trial in a lot of foreign places. I dated a Dominican once & his brother was busted for drugs, in two days he went before a judge & was sentenced to 4 years no paroling or none of that. . . He got sentenced & that was that. However with Lisa being a 1st Lady and all, someone must be trying to get her out. . . .

“It is with great sadness that I have to announce that my husband and I have separated.

Last night, Wednesday August 13, 2008, an attempt was made by and on behalf of my husband to first prevent my entry into our home and then, later, to make me leave our home by force.

It was necessary for me to receive medical treatment for injuries suffered and in relation to those injuries I shall continue to assist the police force with its enquiries.

Whilst it is my sincere wish to avoid unnecessary conflict, I shall not be intimidated, nor shall those individuals whose job it is to protect and represent me.

The Premier is trying to gain independence from Brittian. The Premier's opponents think that he is doing this to de a commission of inquiry that has targeted official corruption on Misick's watch.

I beleive Misick's adversaries probably posted Lisa's bail if she was really in jail.
