You've Been Spotted: Sunglasses

"Dark glasses are like portable eye shadow and the world looks more beautiful through tinted glasses. Everybody looks 10 years younger,that is why I wear dark glasses always." Karl Lagerfeld.

The weather in New York City has been quite dreadful for this style spotter. I must admit, rainy days, cloudy skies and harsh winds have made my fashion choices somewhat dreadful. So what does a stylish sunny - weather girl like moi do? We board a quick flight to the land of sunshine... Miami, Baby!

Miami is a wonderful, popular destination for us east coasters who crave heat, beach, pool, and frozen margaritas in between, of course! Since the weather in Miami is as gorgeous as a new floral Giant Brief, Balenciaga bag, it lends one self to throw on a cute sundress or a pair of comfortable khakis and a t-shirt. But one fashion staple I found the fab, South Beach crowd could not live with out was a pair of stylish shades. Today's You've Been Spotted blog is all about the tinted lens. My shades papi! Check out a couple of ladies cooling in The Beach with an oh so fresh pair.

Try coordinating your accessories with your shades like the young lady on the right.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder what he would have thought about the world. What major issues from his day would have been pertinent today? Would he react to today's issues the same way he did in the 1960s? Would he be more frustrated with white racism, or with black complacency? ...
