Check Out Poster To Will Smith's 'Seven Pounds'

Posted Oct 31st 2008 11:56AM by Wilson Morales
Filed under: It's All Reel, Entertainment

This is clearly the easiest way to let folks know that you have a film coming out. Put your face on the cover. Here is the poster to Will Smith's Seven Pounds. The tagline is 'Seven names. One secret. Seven strangers.'

Directed by Gabriele Muccino, who worked with Smith on 'The Pursuit of Happyness', the film also stars Rosario Dawson, Michael Ealy, Barry Pepper, Woody Harrelson, and Robinne Lee. Making his film debut is Connor Cruise, the 13-year-old adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. He plays the younger version of Smith's character, Ben.

In the film, Smith plays Ben Thomas, a guilt-ridden IRS agent who inadvertently falls in love while attempting to kill himself. At the same time, he embarks on an extraordinary journey of redemption by forever changing the lives of seven strangers.Dawson's playing the love interest who suffers from a serious heart condition. Woody Harrelson will be a motel attendent who becomes intrigued by his suicidal new tenant, while Ealy plays Smith's brother.

2. If he wanted it to be a hit: One of the wayans brothers should have been included.

3. I'm glad it's a black woman this time (Hancock)

4. Rosario Dawson is not fully african-american Bunnee. But as you know it, Hancock made a killing in theatres and drive-ins. So...whether the female actress is black or white and so forth, Will Smith is going to do well in any kind of movie with any flavor of women. Still nothing change in the race issue in this sad country. We got history in the making and the only thing you could think of is he's making a movie with a black woman. WHAT A SHAME.
