Terrorist & Nazis - McCain and Palin, Spewing Hatred or Truth?

Posted Oct 7th 2008 11:00AM by Carmen Dixon
Filed under: BlackSpin, Elections, Barack Obama, John McCain, Rev. Jeremiah Wright , Sarah Palin

What kind of person fans hatred as a get out the vote (GOTV) strategy?

Whether you like Barack Obama and Joe Biden or not, I have to believe most Americans are appalled when the phrase "kill him" is shouted out at Palin's rally and "terrorist" is shouted out at McCain's when Barack Obama's name is mentioned.

McCain and Palin just smirked when this hatred was spewed and continued on with their speeches. I refuse to believe this is the kind of America most Americans want to live in or have their children and grandchildren to grow up in. ...

Looking at past relationships is fair game in a political campaign. I encourage it. And as McCain/Palin and the Republican party rage on about Obama's association with 60's radical William Ayers, let us talk about the fact that Palin's husband, the "First Dude", was a verified member of a secessionist party that wanted Alaska to leave the United States – yes that's right Todd Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party.

"According to the director of Division of Elections in Alaska, Gail Fenumiai, Todd Palin registered in October 1995 to the Alaska Independence Party, a radical group that advocates for Alaskan secession from the United States." Palin's partner remained a member of the Alaska Independence Party until 2002, until 2002, the first year Palin ran for statewide office. The AIP's leader/creator Joe Vogler puts it this way:

"I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." The same man, AIP founder Joe Vogler, also said, "[T]he fires of Hell are glaciers compared to my hate for the American government."
What does it say about John McCain's character and worldview that he sat on the board of the US. Council for World Freedom a group well known for its relationship to Nazi collaborators and right wing death squads in Central America? According to the Associated Press:

GOP presidential nominee John McCain has past connections to a private group that supplied aid to guerrillas seeking to overthrow the leftist government of Nicaragua in the Iran-Contra affair.

McCain's ties are facing renewed scrutiny after his campaign criticized Barack Obama for his link to a former radical who engaged in violent acts 40 years ago.

The U.S. Council for World Freedom was part of an international organization linked to former Nazi collaborators and ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America. The group was dedicated to stamping out communism around the globe.

The council's founder, retired Army Maj. Gen. John Singlaub, said McCain became associated with the organization in the early 1980s as McCain was launching his political career in Arizona. Singlaub said McCain was a supporter but not an active member in the group.

McCain has said previously he resigned from the council in 1984 and asked in 1986 to have his name removed from the group's letterhead.

"I didn't know whether (the group's activity) was legal or illegal, but I didn't think I wanted to be associated with them," McCain said in a newspaper interview in 1986.

Singlaub does not recall any McCain resignation in 1984 or May 1986. Nor does Joyce Downey, who oversaw the group's day-to-day activities.

"That's a surprise to me," Singlaub said. "This is the first time I've ever heard that."

I once respected John McCain. But now, McCain's battle cry of "country first" is a complete distortion of the course he and his campaign has chosen to follow.

1. On the mark Palin! That's why I love you! McCain/Palin '08

2. It's the good old boys party. Just look out in the crowd at a McCain/Palin rally and all you see is sea of white folks some and colored people. Obama followers are of all differenct races, and what I like the most is that he has the kids interested in politics this time, the young kids love him. I knew McCain was less than a man when he didn't look Obama in the eyes, the eyes are the window to your soul and they don't have one to get up and come out of their mouths and say half the stuff they say. McCain is a loose cannon about to explode. No one owes him anything for fighting for his country first, that was his choice. He could care less about this country if he was so concerned he would have done all he had to do while Bush was in office, he didn't make enough noise, now that they've pretty much messed everything up they want us to trust them again. My mother didn't raise a fool. It would be a cold day in hell before I would even think about voting McCain. What about his wife Cindy, suppose they brought up how she stole drugs from the company she use to work for to supply her drug habbit. What they have on Michelle, nothing. Joe six pack and the hockey moms and the mavericks can go the hell back to where they came from. Not on our watch will we let this happen.

3. I have lost any amount of respect I ever had for Mr McCain. His campaign antics have reduced him to the worst kind of politician, and dare I say, human being.

"Country first" my a**! He's become a pathetic excuse for a man, and I can only hope that voters are smart enough to see him for what he is.

This win-at-any-cost mentality is clearly indicative of the kind of president he will be, and that should scare everyone, even his supporters.

How anyone can swallow this kind of politics, is mind-boggling, even if he's your choice... how can you think that all these lies, character assassinations, smear and fear tactics, are appropriate tools with which to run a campaign?

If he wins the presidential seat over Obama, America will get what it deserves, and in the long run, they won't like it!

It's a sad, sad time for American politics. We've become a the punchline for a lot international jokes.

4. I am so ashamed of John McCain and the way he has used sleazy attack lies and smears in this campaign. I have lost any respect I may have had for him. As for Sarah Palin, she is stupid for letting John McCain sacrifice her the way he is doing. She Is Not Cute!!! It is a shame how low some people go to try to gain control of others.

5. Nothing comes out of McCain-Palin mouth is the truth i wish someone would tape their private conversations, and air them because i can only imagine what they say about us behind our backs. Us meaning African Americans!! Let them keep wishing something happens to Obama it may come back on them.

6. I SWEAR TO GOD I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE WANTS TO SAY ABOUT ME BUT I JUST THINK MAcCAIN IS THE DEVIL HIMSELF AND PALIN IS HIS APPRENTICE. LETS JUST WAKE UP PEOPLE JUST IMAGINE BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD RUNNING THIS COUNTRY THAT IS A NIGHTMARE WE PEOPLE DONT WANT TO COME THROUGH.

LORRAINE at 1:54PM on Oct 7th 2008

7. A Republican president is the only one to ever put some cash money in my pocket and he did it TWICE! Now Bush's presidency ends in January. McCain is a totally different person with his own policies and programs. In his recent address to the NAACP he was straight forward and promised school reform for the inner city. I was impressed with his message. On the contrary when Obama appeared at the NAACP he looked lost and resorted to even scratching his head. I found his out of place demeanor and absence of a plan to improve the lives of black Americans not surprising for this Chicago slum lord and "Ivy League" elitist has never identified with black American issues. What's more the poor of America do not even feature in Obama's vocabulary. Obama's sheddy real estate dealings and associations with a notorious underworld kingpin in Chicago is a red flag in the face of thinking and decent Americans. Yeah, the elitist Obama has a dark past of associating with unrepentant white radicals and revolutionaries. Noticeably, none of them were black. The only time Obama ever had for a black American was when he was after our peoples' grassroot support. Having deceived many black Americans into believing he was one of us Obama now feels he can go it alone after mustering mass support from bleeding heart white liberals. But what is done in the dark will come to the light. It has taken a little hard hitting woman out of Alaska to finally begin to expose the political faker Obama. More power to her!

9. This hatred is exactly what we've lived with for so many years. It is time to recognize the devious, hatefilled, greedy, one-sided leadership we have had that brought us to our knees.

These people consider themselves representatives of God. I do not believe God was filled with this type of venom. He created ALL people, with love.

Nina Goodrich at 3:32PM on Oct 7th 2008

10. Seldom have I seen such absolute racism as I have seen from the black people posting on this board. Your inability to see beyond the skin tone of your favorite, Obama, is astounding. He doesn't give a hoot in hell about any of you, he's a consummate politician and is banking on your voting for his skin color, not his qualifications -- which are nil. He's a crooked politician if ever there was one, and you are falling into his trap. All of you. I doubt very much if any of you has taken the time to actually read his background. He is NOT, AND I REPEAT NOT! for you. He is for himself alone.

Here's a clue how he's gotten you so blinded by skin tone that you cannot see what is happening. In the primary in, I believe, South Carolina, Barack Obama received something like 91% of the black vote. That was NOT because he was a known quantity, it is because he is black. And only half black at that. And not even American half black. He does NOT share your background nor represent your interests. Aside from that, the only areas in the world where a 91% majority vote is even possible is in totalitarian countries such as, oh, say, IRAQ under Sadaam Hussein and in communist lands like the former Soviet Union.

Look it up, you'll find it's true. Now what difference does this indicate? When the KKK and the "good 'ol boys" as you like to call them, vote 100% white, meaning merely for their skin color, and Obama gets 91% of the black vote, that means that BOTH OF YOU ARE RACISTS! Neither of you voted for the man, you both voted for the color. You have so much in common, now don't you?!

12. I hear you Janice. Unfortunately the vast majority of black folks are so politically immature that it boggles the mind. Every time Obama opens his mouth nothing comes out but communism or socialism. Anything that a white person says about someone that is black automatically that white person is a racist but yet black people come on this site and spew some of the most vile, racist and sexist crap immagineable. Approximately 95 to 98% of black folk are irredeemably lost. Many show no signs of a capacity for rational thought. Most blacks have become the same hate filled types that most whites used to be. The economic power of blacks is such that if blacks were plunked down in a country by themselves, blacks would be care takers of the 16th largest economy on this planet! And for all I know that number may be around 10th largest by now! Unlike the not to distant past black folks can now go anywhere they can afford. Sit any where on a bus or in a theater or restaurant of their choosing. Blacks lead some of the most prestigious companies. Consider CEO Stan O'Neal a black man, who in 2007 enjoyed a "golden parachute" valued at $150 million when he left Merrill Lynch & Co. God has truly "brought"blacks "from a migthy long way". But are blacks thankful? Not a chance! All black people know how to do is constantly see imaginary racists around every corner, and vote en masse for a political party that has done absolutely nothing for them. And this is happening because the average black person has not educated themselves to the truth of what is actually happening to them. What a waste of potential. I paraphrase the word when I say that.. my people are distroyed by a willfull lack of knowledge. The Democratic Party along with it's liberal ideology is subtly killing black folks. You black folks need to go back and investigate why that during the Reconstruction period pratically all blacks belonged to the Repulican Party, and it wasn't because someone made them join, they had very good reason to belong.
