
One of the brightest stars of the future, David Oyelowo, has a film that be featured at the Toronto Film Feature with his latest film, 'Who Do You Love'. He will be playing the legendary Muddy Waters in the life story of legendary record producer Leonard Chess, founder of Chess Records, the label that helped popularize Blues music during the 1950s and '60s.
Also starring in the film are Jon Abrahams as Phil Chess and Alessandro Nivola as Leonard Chess.
Oyelowo was most recently seen in the TV production of 'A Raisin in the Sun' with Sean Combs and Sanaa Lathan and was in the BBC production of 'The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency' with Jill Scott, Idris Elba, and Anika Noni Rose
The film is directed by Jerry Zaks, who best known in the theater world for having won numerous Tony for his direction of 'Six Degrees of Separation' and 'Guys and Dolls'. This is his first feature film he's directed since he did 'Marvin's Room' with Meryl Streep back on 1996.
