Rush Limbaugh thinks Barack Obama's historic march toward the White House is nothing but a nasty case of affirmative action because nobody has "the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy."It's been a while since we've heard an ignorant racist remark out of Rush. As least two weeks. They say he's been busy bashing his buddy John McCain.
According to Media Matters, Rush Limbaugh said that "it is striking how unqualified [Sen. Barack] Obama is and, and how this whole thing came about with, within the Democrat Party. I think it really goes back to the fact that nobody had the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy." Limbaugh went on to say: "I think this is a classic illustration here where affirmative action has reared its ugly head against them. ...
The truth is, no one has had the guts to really stand up to this loud-mouth pill-popper in his decades of racist right-wing radio reign. ...
We all know Rush is just way too high on happy pills to remember that just a few months ago half the "liberal democrats" he likes to moan about wanted Hillary Clinton to be taking the nominations next week in Denver. At that time, the argument was nobody has "the guts to stand up and say no to a woman in a pants suit."
Clinton supporters weren't they afraid of this "black boogie man" BS that Rush is talking about.
So what is he talking about?
Over the years (and in this election cycle alone), Rush has made countless racist comments that have never been met with Don Imus consequences. Why?
Well, some have tried. Remember the Donovan McNabb remark that got him canned from ESPN? Or what about that mess he said about Michael J. Fox faking Parkinson's, a slap on the wrist for that!
Not to mention his offensive trashing of Latinos and Mexicans in the US.
Long before many thought Obama had a chance at the White House last summer Limbaugh was singing about "Barack the Magic Negro." Limbaugh was certain Obama's campaign would not make it to the primaries.
Obama was the one who was not afraid to stand up to his detractors all throwing out the same lines about his race being the reason for his candidacy, from Rush to Fox News to Geraldine Ferrero.
But who will stand up to Rush Limbaugh, or as Paris Hilton would say, "the wrinkly white-haired dude?"

1. I think that it's about time for all rational thinking black people to stand up and put Rush Limbaugh in his place. Why is he labeled as a "Right-Wing Conservative" when he should be labeled as a Racist Bigot? Freedom of speech is one thing, but the __it that he spews is trash that fuels the minds of confused/ignorant white people with hatred.
