Lil' Kim & Foxy Brown Renege on Books

Both Lil' Kim and Foxy Brown may have to come out of pocket. The femcees reneged on contractual agreements with publisher Simon & Schuster (S&S) to deliver books.

According to Publishers Lunch, in 2004, Inga (aka Foxy) was paid $75,000 for an autobiography that was due in 2006. The book was described as, "relating her teenage years as an avid reader and gifted student, to her fascination with men involved in the drug underworld, to rapping on Jay-Z's first big hit."Kim was paid $40,000 in 2003 for a novel that she was supposed to deliver in 2004. S&S spokesperson Adam Rothberg said, "both accepted the money and both books never were delivered."

Not a good look.

Months ago, More than Words reported that Lil' Kim had signed a book deal with a different publisher St. Martin's Press to write an autobiography detailing her time in prison among other things. One can only wonder if she'll deliver on that one.

1. Maybe they're trying to find someone to help them with the big words!!

2. Whooo that was cold. Maybe Kim would have a problem with the big words, but Foxy is a very intelligent well read chick, which is why she needs to go find somethng worthwhile to do instead of riding Jay-Zs coatail.

3. NOW WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT THESE TWO WACK #@$ WOMEN CAN WRITE A BOOK MUCH LESS FLOW, YOU CRAZY IF YOU THINK THEY'RE GOING TO DELIVER A BOOK FOR THE PUBLIC TO READ. THEIR BOOKS ARE GOING TO BE A LOT LIKE THEIR MUSIC... NON SELLERS.

4. with all the drama their both going through, They probably didn't have time. Also the publisher's should have had a better way of conducting business. On both sides they were wrong. Nobody should be in trouble, just give them another deadline cause the books will sell. Give them a break, can I hear something good about these females for a change.
