Hair Apparent Discussion - July Hits and Misses!!!

Posted Jul 13th 2008 10:33PM by Gennifer Miller
Filed under: Hair Apparent, Lifestyle

So, we are now in the middle of July and I actually wanted to toss a question out to the readers...

What are some of your Hits and Misses for the month so far??

What products have been working for you and what products have been a big fat ole' miss?

Hits

Revisited Hit - Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion. Not hair related but makes my skin nice and soft

Nexxus Therappe
- Slowly growing on me. Smells like coconuts and makes my hair very soft.

Nexxus Humectress
- Growing on me too. The smell is fantastic and leaves my hair very soft and smooth.

Revisited Hit - Braidouts
for the summer. I haven't done these since I was a teen. I forgot how much I love this style.

Misses

Phytopolleine Scalp Serum - Way too expensive for such a small bottle and I didnt notice that much difference!

How about you all?As always, for more tips and techniques, you can find me at www.healthytextures.com or on my social network www.healthytextures.ning.com (now at 3600 members)!

2. Three words: Ellin Levar Textures.... her line of products is now being offered exclusively in CVS stores nationwide. I used to order it online, but now I can walk in and get it off the shelf.
I love it!

3. Deva Curl Products These are a great thing for Natural Kinky to Kinky Curly hair. I like the No Poo cleanser and the Heaven in Hair conditioner

4. Hi Sisters,

I need help. I have long but thin hair it weighs down easyly. Because of this I have being wearing wig. Can somebody recommend anything that will help to make my bounce and thick.

5. Nexxus has been known to have toxic chemical properties. You should go for a less abrasive brand of shampoo and conditioner. If you want the coconut smell, and even better conditioning and moisturizing, check out Organix shampoos and conditioners. Even better, and cheaper, the newer Suave products are the equivalent product consistency of Nexxus, without the price tag.
