LeBron James has teamed up with Nickelodeon to help promote their Big Green Help campaign. King James will be the star of LeBron James: Worldwide Big Green Bike-a-Thon, a mini-game featured on http://www.biggreenhelp.com. Players are asked to help a bike-riding LeBron avatar deliver green tips across the globe to rack up points and progress to the next level of play.
"We all need to be aware of how to take care of the environment," James said. "I'm glad that I can show kids what they can do to help."
According to Nickelodeon, James will also appear in a The Big Green Help public service announcement (PSA) airing throughout the summer. Designed to empower kids to take action on the environment, Nickelodeon's The Big Green Help multiplatform campaign provides information and tools to help explain climate change to kids, and connect them to energy saving and earth-friendly activities in their everyday lives.

1. Green is not about taking money to appear in campaigns to keep up the public image you are trying to convey.
if leBron really wanted to make a difference he can start by getting rid of those suvs he drives that leave a huge carbon footprint. how about preaching THAT to kids. leBron, put YOUR money where you mouth is instead of being a mouthpiece for your wallet!
