NBA Players Without Championship Rings

Posted Jun 18th 2008 10:50AM by Cheryl Thompson
Filed under: Casually Obsessed

The Celtics' Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen completed their task of not only winning a NBA title for Boston, but also winning a championship ring as individual players for the first time in their careers. Yet, not all NBA stars are so lucky. See the NBA legends who retired without any championship ring bling.

1. Some of the very best players does not have rings such as Iverson. From back in the day there were plenty more that should have but, just didn't get championship. I love KG and I was rutting for them because they deserve the championship they had a great team they played extremly well. Congrats KG!! I love you Garnette he deserved his own.

3. The Celtics played hard and long. They cameback so much in the game. They played good ball. I am not a sports fan and it was the first game I have every watched .

4. I'm a Laker fan. Have been since they came to LA. I, naturally, was rooting for them to win. However, I'm not that disappointed. My daughter is a good friend of Paul Pierce and I really wanted KG to get a ring. He paid his dues in Minn. I'd also like to see Steve Nash get a ring, but not at the expense of the Lakers. We have a very good chance, with the return of Andrew Bynum, of becoming a possible dynasty.

5. I too have been a Laker-Pistons fan for a very long time. Although the Lakers lost, I am so very happy for the Celtics, especially Kevin, Ray & Paul. They have been in the league too long & play ball too good not to have a championship ring. Of course congrats goes to all the Celtics players & especially Coach Glenn (Doc) Rivers. Last but by no means least of all, I congratulate those LALakers. See you next June in the championship finals. LOVE YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. I only have 1 thing to say about Kobe Bryant-F*** him! I'm so glad the Celtics won. I'm sooooo proud of them, and they all deserved it.

MALACHI WILLIAMS at 10:16PM on Jun 19th 2008

13. I have been a fan of Kevin Garnett since he entered the league. Living in Minnesota we watched him grow into the superstar that he is. In addition to being a spectacular basketball player he is a wonderful human being. He quietly did so many things for the community that most people do not even know about. He more than paid his dues. We have all the love and respect in the world for him. Congrats to K.G. our "Big Ticket".

15. I have never sat and watched a game on T. V., I am not a Sports fan. I watched two games. The Celtics played very hard and made Major comebacks. They played as a team and not a one man show as the Lakers.
