Omarosa's Opus: A 'B---h' of A Book

Omarosa

The b___ is back and this time, she's teaching lessons!

Reality TV's most popular star Omarosa has signed a lucrative book deal with Phoenix Books to release her debut tome, 'The Bitch Switch: Knowing How To Turn It On and Off.'

"I am thrilled to have my first book published and I am so happy that it is a self-help book for women – and some men – who are tired of being doormats," she told me.

The 33-year-old, Youngstown, Ohio-native (full name: Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth) has become the reality star that most people love to hate because of her tough-as-nails approach to television and business.

"I am not really a b____, I just play one on TV," Omarosa laughed. "When a woman gives her opinion, she's a b____. I've cornered the b____ niche."

In 'The Bitch Switch,' Omarosa aims to show other women how to be "assertive," "aggressive" and "occasionally bitchy."The Bitch Switch: Knowing How To Turn It On and Off

"It will empower women who are being pushed around, walked on and/or looked over by people in their lives. At work, at home or in your relationships you may need to speak up or stand up to those people or things that are holding you back from achieving your full potential. 'The Bitch Switch' is a tool for anyone trying to find their own unique voice or point of view. It teaches you to harness the power of your 'Bitch Switch,'" she explained, before adding: "And yes even men have a b____ switch!"

The work will also explore how other powerful women like Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Walters and Hillary Clinton benefit from pushing the button on their 'Bitch Switch.'

The book is slated to hit stores in late September and Phoenix Books has a whirlwind media blitz scheduled for the once-married, now-divorced former White House employee.

Additionally, Omarosa, who has appeared on 'The Surreal Life,' 'Girlfriends,' 'Fear Factor,' and the soap opera 'Passions,' is in development on a television show of her own that's being produced by Donald Trump.

Apparently, her 15 minutes of fame just got a little longer!

"Some people are giving a once in a life time 15 minutes of fame. I have 15 minutes of fame every hour and I certainly know how to maximize them," Omarosa declared.

"It's taken me 15 years to be an overnight success," she continued. "With the new show in development and the new book 'The Bitch Switch,' I am looking forward to a long career in entertainment."

1. Who would buy this book? It has takne her 15 years to be an overnight crackhead. Her behavior on the last season of the Apprentice was awful and truly ghetto! I just hope that this book is not like the clothing line, other book and television show that she spoke about and never became a reality! Now that would be a great show OMAROSA TRYIN TO MAKE IT IN THE REAL WORLD!

2. Omarosa..this is great keep up the good work

3. As a very close friend of Omarosa and witness to her power at helping women find their voice...I am glad she has decided to give the world a glimpse of who she really is. In our world, it's sad to say that you can not be an assertive, independent and progressive Black woman without being labeled a 'bitch'. Just today on CNN, there were discussions about is America ready for a Black First Lady (Michelle Obama)? They can accept a Black President of the United States...but the idea of a highly educated, beautiful, assertive, and powerful Black woman is so threatening to America. Name one Black woman of power who hasn't been labeled a 'Bitch' and you will amaze their world......I'm waiting

4. Omarosa is definitely making the most of her time in the spotlight!

5. Omarosa, when you start to reap the true harvest of
the evil and destructive seeds you have sown, you
will need to write another book. This one should
be entitled: "Paybacks is a Bitch"!

Evelyn at 10:49AM on Jun 13th 2008

6. She is a strong black woman who has had to fight long and hard for her corporate status. Donald Trump was her challenge not the others on the show where she had to prove above all that she could control and manage an empire. She's come a long way and is sustaining in show business. She's proving to be smart!

Terrah at 4:12PM on Jun 13th 2008

7. SHE WILL NEVER ACHIEVE THE STATURE OF VANESSA WILLIAMS WHO I REALLY ADMIRE FROM ALL THAT SHE WENT THROUGH IN THE PAST AND HAVE MADE IT BIG IN SHOW BUSINESS AND HAS WON RESPECT . SHE DID IT BY NOT BEING A BITCH BUT A STRONG BLACK WOMAN THAT KNEW PEOPLE WERE EXPECTING HER TO FAIL BUT SHE PROVED THEM ALL WRONG. OMAROSA IS JUST A LOUD MOUTH AND AS HER BOOK SAYS, A BITCH

10. I can not stand Omarosa. I thing she makes all black women look bad. Im going to laugh my head off when her book becomes a major flop.

Liz at 4:38AM on Jun 14th 2008

11. he thing about people who makes it "big"...not at all saying this woman has made it big in hollywood, but the thing is she is making it for all the wrong reasons. then there comes that time when they want others to take them seriously and then it is to late. Omarosa is an idiot. I am sure a woman who is prepared to be called a bitch is not offended by someone referring to her as an idiot.Underneath it all she is just a scared little girl who uses all this bitchy bravado to cover up insecurities she hopes the world never finds out.

14. Bitter brotha need a smart woman like this in his corner, an if she got some money its on!!!!!!!!!!

Broke Bitter Brotha at 9:54AM on Jun 16th 2008

15. If Omarasa makes all black women look bad then the ones who think we are all alike have the problem not black women. I know when people of other races or genders have a bad attitude or do something wrong we don't generalize everyone in that group. Omarasa looks like many of us and not "Hollywood's Ideal" of what we should be and she is pretty (but she could be nicer) but unfortunately that's all you see of us in the media.
