Former BET personality and current radio personality Big Tigger will be hosting his 7th Annual Celebrity Classic in Washington D.C., June 5-7. The weekend will host a town hall meeting and celebrity discussion panel; a youth sport clinic and an all-star celebrity basketball game.
Athletes slated to participate already include Caron Butler, Santana Moss, Clinton Portis, Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, Anthony Henry (Cowboys), Braylon Edwards (Browns), Darren Sharper (Vikings), Willis McGahee (Ravens), Roger Mason (Wizards), Deon Grant (Seahawks), Gary Payton (Heat), Jerry Porter (Jaguars), Leigh Bodden (Lions), Ovie Mughelli (Falcons), Pat Watkins (Cowboys), Vernon Davis (49ers), Fred Smoot (Redskins), DeShawn Stevenson (Wizards) and Kenyon Martin (Nuggets).
The three day weekend was designed to raise funds and raise public awareness of HIV/AIDS. The weekend will also host an HIV Testing Initiative where local residents will be able to get tested for HIV free of charge.
