Divorce Court Can't Save Gary Coleman's Marriage

Posted May 1st 2008 12:00PM by Jeff Douglas
Filed under: BlackSpin

Just short of his first wedding anniversary, former child star Gary Coleman takes his marriage problems to "Divorce Court."

The episode airs Thursday and Friday. Check out the sneak preview above. ...
She's 22, he's 40 and they argued all the way up to the witness stand. Judge Lynn Toler drops some good advice on the couple, but if I were Coleman, I'd leave this crazy-lookin' red-head. I mean, for one, she's two-feet taller.

"If he doesn't get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a 5-year-old does," Shannon Price told the judge.

Yea, and he'd probably slap you if he could reach.

After taping the show, Judge Toler asked the couple to return in six months for an update hearing.

"Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Judge!?!? This'll be over in real divorce court by the end of the month.

1. Gary got what he wanted. He got someone to marry him and help him restart the drama that we call his life and career. I just hope she had a prenup because the money made from this union is quite limited. What you talking about?

2. UNTIL GARY GETS HELP FOR THE PROBLEMS THAT HE IS HAVING INSIDE OF HIM NOTHING OR NO ONE CAN HELP HIM. HE IS CRYING OUT FOR HELP AND NO ONE IS LISTENING TO HIM. FIRST HIS ADOPTIVE PARENTS DID HIM IN AND HIS SO CALLED FRIENDS AND NOW THIS. THIS MAN IS A WALKING TIME BOMB READY TO EXPLODE. HE NEEDS COUNSELING AND PERHAPS SOME ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES. IF HIS WIFE TRULLY LOVES HIM THE WAY SHE SAYS THAT SHE DOES SHE WILL STICK BY HIM AS LONG AS HE ISNT HITTING HER. JUST MY OPINION ON THINGS....

3. Gary Coleman had the best show in the 80's! I love this little dude. I saw him in a store a couple of weeks ago and didn't say anything to him out of respect for his privacy. I would certainly help him if I was able to help. I hope he realizes that he has millions of fans that love him and that not everyone is out to get him. I would be his friend if he let me. We love you Gary!

4. I heard about this. His marriage certainly didn't last long. It's a shame that he feels that he has to continue to air his dirty laundry this way. I wonder how much he is being paid to go to Divorce Court.

5. Will Gary ever find happiness? I thought he was uptight because he was a virgin and couldn't find a girl. Now he has a wife and probably hit that and he's still angry. I wish him well. He is truly a troubled soul.

6. OH MY, GARY, GARY, GARY? LOL

7. If Tila Tequilla can get a shot at love I'm sure Gary Coleman can ...Give him a reality show!! He would be a lot easier to watch!

9.

Gary really needs Dr. Phil.

10. HE'S EMBARRASSING....AND HE NEEDS HELP....

HE'S A JOKE....SAD...SO SAD!!!

MSBEE at 10:06PM on May 2nd 2008

11. Gary figured, since he hasn't been in the "Limelight", he needed to get attention so that people cam make him a "STAR" again? "NOT"! I beleive his wife, if he doesn't get his way he will throw temper tantrums like a 5 year-old! Come on, a GROWN AZZ MAN crying like a BABY! I guess he will never grow up and take marriage seriously by working out things or, to handle any ADULT PROBLEMS THAT HE FACES IN HIS EVERYDAY LIFE!

Then again, wifey knew WHAT KIND OF A PERSON HE WAS and WHAT HE WANTED (no kids). In that case, "THERE IS YOUR KID BRAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED"! I know the woman didn't marry him for his MONEY FO SURE! You have to ask, did wifey marry him becuase she really LOVED him or, did wifey marry him becuase he "WAS FAMOUS"? I'm not fallin for that at all! I could care less about his marital problems.

Gary will do what it takes to get that ATTENTION! at 10:24PM on May 2nd 2008

12. you know what they say about little things- they don't work.

smcelestin@aol.com at 1:16AM on May 3rd 2008

13. I saw both shows and it's obvious that Gary needs some major counseling. He is so full of anger and that's a shameful waste of time. I just lost my 39 year old nephew to cancer and here Gary is alive and being a big crybaby. Kidney problems aside, he's had opportunities that most people will never have. He needs to stop feeling sorry for himself and grow up for real.

14. I heard that Gary Coleman was in the process of getting $30 million dollars, do anyone know if that's true of not? if so please let me know. If true I wonder if Ms. 22 yr old know or heard the same thing? that may be the reason she promise on Divorce Court she'll never divorce him, hmmmm! I saw the show too and at the end when the couple was in the lobby when she huged him, I saw no LOVE in that hug.

H-Town at 4:07PM on May 4th 2008

15. Gary's anger most likely stems from being swindled out of his earnings by his adopted parents. Those people left him dead broke. What they did is enough to make anyone crazy. He spent his whole childhood working and his adopted parents made sure it was for nothing.
