3. Rev Wright, is indeed right but there is a such thing as being dead right. and at this time he is dead right meaning he may be killing the presidency of Obama. Rev Wright is a disgraces to the black church and African Americans in general, his buffoonish behavior at the Press club yesterday leads me to assume that he is either jealous of Sen.Obama's shining star symbol of a greater man than he is and as such wants to drag him drown or he (and Conell West) forgot to take their psychotic medication. If he truly understood the tremendous odd and uphill battle Sen. Obama is facing to become the President of USA, he would have at least answered the questions ask of him in a more distinguished manner that he has the ability to do. Rather, he choose to reaffirm the negative image of a village idiot, which the main stream media (MSM) wants to make of him- a caricature image, which Sen. Obama himself did not want the public to make of Rev. Wright. In my opinion Rev. Wright is more devilish than the Clintons, because he should know better. I truly hope Sen. Obama had disowned and should have thrown Rev. Wright under the bus a long time ago before his low-life behavior yesterday.

Obama is not a shining example. He had already thrown Rev. Wright under the bus. What do you think calling him a crazy uncle, wrong, divisive, offensive, etc (without himself hearing the entire sermon, nor criticizing the media for taking Wright out of context) was?

6. Rev. Wright is not a disgrace. He is a man who has been badly treated by both the media and by a "friend." I personally did not see Wright's behavior as so outrageous, but I can see that with other people, it did not help his cause. That notwithstanding, I think it would be a shame for the black community to turn against a man who has fought for Africans and African Americans all of his adult life.

The root of all of this uproar is the media. When the smoke clears and the dust settles, a two decades long spiritual partnership has been torn apart, not primarily because of Rev. Wright's behavior yesterday, but because of the media's persistent desire to use controversy to tear down Obama.

Don't blame Wright for this: the man has been humiliated, is living under death threats, and is probably hurting like hell. If there's someone or something you want to find disgraceful, then find the media disgraceful. It has been their lack of integrity that brought all of this to pass.

7. I find it more than a little unsettling that the conference yesterday was organized by avid Clinton supporter Beverley Reynolds. It's unfortunate that Obama has gotten drawn into all of this, and equally unfortunate that Rev Wright handled things the way he did yesterday. Obama is surrounded by alot of white liberals advising him, and needs to learn to fight these racist attacks and massive media bias with a bit more racial awareness and sophistication. I'm hoping that there won't be a massive backlash from Rev Wright, that he'll sum up what's really operating here and not get into an ego war. Obama is still a much better choice than the Hillary Clintons of the world, who say things like:

1. "Martin Luther King had his dream, but it took an experienced politician like Lyndon Johnson to get things done."
2. Bill Clinton: "Well, Jesse Jackson won here too, (South Carolina), so?"
3. Who overhauled the welfare system to the detriment of mostly single, struggling black women, over the massive objections of the Congressional Black Caucus? Oh, Bill Clinton.
4. Bill, screwing over Lani Guinier.
5. Bill, screwing over Sister Souljah.
6. Bill, screwing over Haitian refugees, trying to escape crushing poverty brought on by United States (Clinton) policies.
The Clintons may have put African Americans into their cabinet, but you don't do that and then the above at the same time. Bush also has Condi Rice, who was buying shoes at Ferragamo during Hurricane Katrina.
Be disenchanted by Obama, you can think he made a mistake. But don't go to $109 million dollar Hillary.

8. REV. WRIGHT DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE A MINISTER.

HE DOES NOT PRACTICE WHAT HE PREACH! HE SAID, JESUS SAID DO UNO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE OTHERS DO UNTO YOU...........DID HE FORGET HIS OWN TEACHING!? Would he want someone to sabotge his job, or to block his chance to preach? 9. I'll start off by saying that there is a time and place for everything and for Rev.Wright to feel the need to come out and defend himself or to play the dozens as he so eloquently put it,is a very miscalculated and untimely and devisive move on Rev.Wright's part.If there was a genuine concern of
a person thinking outside of themselves they'd realize that it would be cool to wait and allow Senator Obama's campaign to run it's course victoriously or otherwise.Instead Wright a retired Pastor....I say again a RETIRED PASTOR with no real urgent need to defend himself or mommy and daddies religious values, decides to jump on the train to 15 minutes of fame and clearly undermine Barack's progress thinking only of himself SHAME ON YOU REVERAND WRIGHT SHAME ON YOU.A very untimely and unwise move for Wright.
If this were me in your shoes guilty of such actions, a Pastor such as yourself would be well within his right and authority to either teach or remind or even flat out check on the spiritual benefits of humility and possibly waiting to know when to fight.Somehow I don't see that happening here.
Now none of us clearly know what the Senator agree's with but for you Reverand Wright to come out and say Obama agree's with you,on national TV is about as devisive and undermining as anything I've seen or heard.I say again shame on you and anyone who agrees with the timeliness of such comments.
To all of you in this forum who concurs with these actions in any fashion,I say to you that this is truly a case of the Emperor having no clothes on.He parades the street declaring or grandstanding his righteous threads when in reality he is in fact in his under garments..
A true friend or supporter of Senator Obama would have waited.Being retired there is no church to defend or sermons for that matter.Reverand Wright stated it clearly he is defending the religious values of his mom and dad.Proving to the world that he is thinking only of himself not Obama,whome I might add should be allowed to focus only on gaining '

11. I am apalled at Rev. Wright, I can not believe he did this. People need to understand when you are a member of a mega church there are a number of asst. pastors, Obama probably worked with more of the younger pastors and not Rev. Wright. Rember Obama was not raised in church he did not join until he was 20 yrs. old. I was raised in church preachers do not preach the same sermon every Sunday. Rev Wright has made a big blunder and needs to be quiet. GO OBAMA

13. We've seen this before with the Jessie Jackson's, Al Sharpton's and Louis Farrakhan's.. Once the "consevative media" labels you a public enemy, black democrat liberal anti-American, Why don't you be quiet and sit down... It's obvious thier speeches messages, congregations,organizations will burn and crash.. As long the divisive opposition has labeled them exclusively as a radical "black" cause.. The Rev.Wright's and others continue to make blanket statements, blanket statements,after blanket statements, Without DNA..,proof..,names date.,times or video. They should please shut the hell up and speak on what they know.. And stop subjecting themselves and their supporters to media lynchings and conservative supremacist cultural or political ridicule... Senator Obama's community organizing grassroots has gotten support in the states and counties and communities Rev.Wright has never set foot in. Obama campaign has focused on Washington D.C. lobbyist and Special Interest.., When the camaras "shined" on Rev.Wright He should've realize how (those) issues affect his community and those should've been the only issues he needs to speak on... After Obama loses his campaign the "Supremacist conservative media like Limbaugh and FOX news have no more use for Rev. Wright except for ridicule and DARTS...

15. He is a digusting, ignorant man who chose to be foolish when he had an opportunity to be poised, uplifting and clear his name. I was cringing when I saw him at that podium jumping around, playing peek aboo and just be a da#$%m fool. What an awful interview from a supposedly wiseman of God. Obama keep your head up and don't stoop to his level. Hopefully he will SHUT UP and go away.
