Are Dwyane Wade and Star Jones a Couple? Nope...

Posted Apr 25th 2008 8:00AM by Quibian Salazar-Moreno
Filed under: Casually Obsessed

Please, say it ain't so! It may be bit of old news, but apparently Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade has been hanging out quite a bit with Star Jones and according to several gossip sites, it's been going on for a minute. Some even say they saw Jones, 48, picking up Wade, 28, after home games in Miami, like she was his momma.

Anyway, the two were snapped together at a recent tennis tournament in Miami. Reps for both told TMZ.com that the rumors weren't true. We wouldn't believe it anyway. Why would D-Wade get with Jones when he can get with someone like... Megan Goode? Zoe Saldana? Lauren London? Ahh, you get the point.

Both Wade and Jones are looking towards the single life with Jones recently filing for divorce from her husband, Al Reynolds, while Wade and his wife, Siobhan, have been separated for close to a year.

1. "HELL TO THE NAAAAAAAWWWW"! SAY IT ISN'T SO? "STAR DOES NOT HAVE HER GROOVE BACK"! SHE NEEDS TO FOCUS IN GETTING HER S**T TOGETHER! THE WOMEN HAS NOTHING BUT BAD LUCK, SINCE SHE TOOK THAT FAT OFF. LITERALLY, THE "FAT" WENT ALL TO HER HEAD"! NOT ONLY SHE LOST THE FAT BUT LOST HER HUSBAND AND CAREER!

3. Come one people stop hating theres nothing wrong with a little young man older women. Why can't Star have fun and if thats what Dwade wants then let him have it.

4. That is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. It won't work. Both seem to be good people but not a good match for each other. I think they leaning on each other for mental support. They can feed off of each other's experiences. Wade represents youthfulness, excitement and fun. Star represents experience, knowledge and a maternal instinct. They both need that in their lives right now to get thru their situations. It's like a balance.

5. The wedding bills aren't paid yet and the ink on the license isn't dry yet. Her strategy/ book on finding the right partner seems to have not worked for her!

6. Get a life people and take care of your own disarray life. Misery loves company!!!

7. I understand why star got her surgery but with all that money she has made you would think she would hire a personal trainer or nutrionist she looks malnurish and really bad.
Her arms are like toothpicks but she has a little gut that math just don't add up come on girl get it together.
As for her and Dwayne Wade who hasn't been with him that would actually be a step down for her if she was he is no prize.

Dia at 11:50AM on Apr 28th 2008

8. Well I don't see the attraction she has for Dwayne Wade because as far as looks are concerned he is not all that. Her soon to be ex,Al Reynolds is fine as hell. She needs to crawl back under that rock for a while until she realizes her best bet might be to retire on an island somewhere.

BENZLUVA at 12:45PM on Apr 28th 2008

9. You are some of the most pitiful and bitter group of people!! You are hating on a sister that has done nothing to any of you. She's a positive role model & I believe a good person. She's done nothing to me to judge her. If Dwyane Wade is dating her then he's a lucky man to have a lovely and educated woman.

Cheryl at 2:00PM on Apr 28th 2008

10. Take a good whiff people that smell is hate . That is not a good fragrance for either of you

Other Brother at 3:29PM on Apr 28th 2008

11. Sometimes the media just needs to mind their business. We too easily forget that celebreties are just people. Believe it or not they could very well be friends. Imagine that!

somegirldownsouth at 11:08AM on Apr 30th 2008

12. I CAN'T BELIVE THIS SH!T. I USED TO BE IN LOVE WITH DWYANE. I PERSONALLY THINK HE CAN DO BETTER. (ASSUMING HE'S EVEN SINGLE. FAR AS I KNOW HE'S STILL A MARRIED MAN)

Sierra Collins at 2:37PM on May 1st 2008

13. I THINK HE COULD DO BETTER AND YOUNGER.

Sierra Collins at 2:37PM on May 1st 2008

14. Whose business is it anyway if they do date. As long as she dates a man and he dates a woman. No offense to anyone, but that is my opinio.

Maria at 6:48AM on May 22nd 2008

15. if wade wants to date a older women that is not a bad thing. I like older women. Its not bad to date older women at all its actually a good thing. Wade don't have to date a younger girl. I don't like young girls, some young man prefer older women, and it is not a crime to go with somebody older. I wish i could go out with 48 year old victoria rowell, she is the finest black women that i have ever seen on tv. The women might be 48 but damn she beautiful and i love her style. What young man would not want to date victoria rowell as find as she is u would be stupid not to even thanking about sleeping with her, why would u want to sleep with a young girl when u can go with older find women . I would choose a older women over a young girl any day. If wade wants to date her he got my blessing, oh she do have some find daughters, serena is my favorite tennis player.
