There's something wrong with this picture. He left 'Girlfriends' for a role on the hot TV show, 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'. He had a breakout role in 'Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?' and is currently in theaters now alongside Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox in 'Vantage Point', so what in the world is Richard T. Jones doing in 'Final Destination 4'?
Variety reports that Jones has signed on to play a security guard whose wife is killed in a car accident.
David R. Ellis, who helmed the second installment, will direct the horror-thriller. The story kicks off when a teenager's premonition of a deadly racecar crash spares his life and those of a few lucky others. But death continues to stalk those who escaped it.
New Line is shooting the latest chapter, budgeted at $43 million, in 3-D. The previous three "Final Destinations" have grossed more than $150 million at the domestic box office.
In looking at the cast list (Shantel VanSanten, Bobby Campo,Hayley Webb, Nick Zano, Krista Allen and Andy Fiscella), I'm hoping Richard is getting a big pay out of this, but then again if Idris Elba can do 'Prom Night', which came in #1 at the box office, so why argue.

1. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the choices Mr. Jones has made in terms of what roles he's accepting. It seems that he's determined not to be typecast and is taking advantage of portraying
numerous characters and reading different scripts put before him. That's what we call being 'versatile'.
Good for him...show 'em that there's more than one facet to a brotha...proving that he's more than
just a tall, dark and handsome love interest.
I like that and obviously, Hollywood loves it. Continued success, Mr. Jones and God
bless!!
