Lessons From The Top 15 Tax Dodgers

Posted Apr 13th 2008 11:00PM by Deborah Owens
Filed under: Ways and Means, Money Talks

Why do celebrities seem to be the targets of I.R.S probes? In my "The Tax Man Cometh" post I wrote about how the I.R.S. dogged Heavyweight champion Joe Louis for years.

Many a celebrity has learned they also need to have someone else overseeing the folks who are counting the money? But others in our Top 15 have even better excuses.

Top 15 Celebrity Tax Cheats

The truth is that celebrities who earn significant amounts of money have to recognize that they are not like the rest of us common folks.

They are the "product" and should have systems and processes in place which account for every dime they earn and subsequently spend. Unfortunately this requires hiring business managers and accountants with expertise in tax law and their hourly fees can be several hundred dollars an hour.

9. I have to admit that I'm not really concerned about these rich people who are too cheap to pay their
taxes. My concern is with the "little guy" who probably can't afford to pay any taxes. Since only 1% of the U.S. population controls 90% of the wealth in this country, that 1% ought to be responsible for paying all the taxes.

10. There is something behind the throne greater than the King himself - Sir William Pitt, House of Lords 1770. ...The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes - Benjamin Dislaeli, English Statesmen 1844. ...The real truth of the matter is that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government since the days of Andrew Jackson - Franklin D. Roosevelt 1933.

11. The Federal Reserves act was not the only unconstitutional bill pushed through congress in 1913, they also pushed the "Federal Income Tax".

NoBushSupporters at 5:50PM on Apr 15th 2008

12. First of all, the Federal Income Tax is completely unconstitutional, as it is a direct un apportioned tax. All direct taxes have to be apportioned to be legal, based on the constitution. Secondly, the required number of states in order to ratify the amendment to allow the income tax was never met. Third, at the present day, roughly 35% of the average workers income is taken from them be it is tax. That means you work four months out of the year to fill this tax obligation. That money goes to pay the interest on the currency being produced by the fraudulent Federal Reserve Bank, a system that doesn't have to exist at all. Fourth, even with the fraudulent government claim as to the legality of the Income Tax, there is literally no statute, no law in existence, that requires that you pay this tax, PERIOD! The Income Tax is nothing less, than the enslavement of the entire Country.

13. "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies...If the American people ever allow Private banks to control the issue of currency...The banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of their property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered" - Thomas Jefferson 1743-1826...."If you want to remain slaves of the bankers and pay for the costs of your own slavery, let them continue to create money and control the Nation's credit" - Sir Josiah Stamp 1880-1941.

NoBushSupporters at 5:56PM on Apr 15th 2008

14. "I am a most unhappy man, I have unwittingly ruined my country, A great industrial nation is now controlled by its system of credit. We are no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of men." - Woodrow Wilson-1919.... "A World Banking system was being set up here. A Superstate controlled by International bankers. Acting together to enslave the world for their own pleasure. The Fed has Usurped the Government." - Congressman Louis McFadden- 1919.

NoBushSupporters at 6:01PM on Apr 15th 2008

15. The Federal Reserve is a Private Corporation, it is about as federal as Federal Express. It makes its own policies and is under virtually no regulation by the US government. It is a private bank that loans all the currency at interest to the government. Its system is completely consistent with the fraudulent Central banking model that the country sought to escape from, when it declared "Independence" in the American Revolutionary War.
