Church Hats: Sisters Step Out In Style

1. I have many hats. I plan to wear a medium-sized hat for Easter Sunday. I love them. The sistas know how to wear them better than anybody.

7. I personally love hats but some women have a tendacy to forget some one is sitting behind you. Give us a break and let us enjoy the service as well. Some of the hats are way to big.

8. Some of the hats worn are more matronly and look good on the Older woman. I see more younger ladies getting their acts together and enjoying the art of donning Hats. I personally love seeing women dressed up to the NINE with a beautiful Hat on. You go Ladies but please don't sit in front of me...Smile

9. It is our tradition to don a hat to church - whether it be a service, funeral or wedding. It has nothing to do with NOT hearing or listening to the WORD! Let's keep the tradition alive.

10. I think hats don't look good on all people. alot of women wear hats as a fashion statement, and the hats they wear don't appeal to them. I never cared for hats for me. I wear them very seldom. I wear hats in the winter to keep my head warm.

11. I think alot of the women look nice, and others, hats don't appeal to them. It is like other clothing, some folks have to wear clothes that are appealing to them. Some of them look like clowns, wearing outragous looking hats. I wear hats in the winter, to keep my head warm.

12. Personally, I am not dressed until I put that hat on. I have been told many times, nobody can wear a hat like I do. Hats aren't for all, but if it makes you feel good, look good, then you wear it with the most dignity.

The Lord does say come as you are however he was talking about coming into his house sinned filled etc, not so much dress, however you do come as you are until he comes into our life and changes the way we think, dress, talk, etc, because if you are a sinner then you would need to know that what you wore in the night club you can't probably wear in his house, out of respect for Jesus and yourself not what other people think but for yourself Because you know you have been born again.
