Toccara: Believe It Or Not, Back to Battle Bulge

The television camera loves Toccara Elaine Jones.

And she just loves it back.

The incredibly shrinking plus-sized beauty, known just as Toccara, first gained attention in Cycle 3 of Tyra Banks' wildly popular reality series 'America's Next Top Model.'

Since then, the Dayton, Ohio native diva has appeared as a spokesperson for Ashley Stewart clothing, bared most of her all for black lad mags King and Smooth, starred in VH1's health-centric 'Celebrity Fit Club,' guest starred on numerous episodes of 'The Tyra Banks Show' and other UPN-associated sitcoms.

She also started her own "Big & Fabulous"t-shirt line and even hosted BET's 'Black Carpet' and the forgettable game show 'Take the Cake.'

A major advertising campaign came in the form of the Rocawear clothing line's "I Will Not Lose" project. (Video below.)

And there's more where that comes from.

Now we'll be seeing much more of her on the new season of 'Celebrity Fit Club.' (Well, not as much as in the photo on the below. But maybe.)

The battle of the bulge will get a new twist with 'Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp,' which premieres March 13 at 9 PM.

That is Toccara's 27th birthday too.

This go round, a leaner Celebrity Fit Club cast – including Tina Yothers, Willie Aames, Dustin Diamond, Erin Moran, Sommore, Brian Dunkleman and A.J. Benza – will compete to lose the last 10-20 pounds.

Their personal reward? Burn fat, get buff and look better naked.

Celebrity Fit Club favorite Drill Sgt Harvey Walden IV is along for the ride once again, and psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser.

According to a network rep, ANT returns for his sixth season as host and will present $150,000 in cash and prizes to the team that achieves the greatest "Fit Factor" – which is a new measure this season that takes into account the loss of not just body weight, but body fat as well.

1. Oh sexy, pretty and adorable. I remembered I've seen her at the celeb club millionairecupid.com a few weeks ago. She exclaimed she is looking for a great man for serious relationship there.

2. you go girl she looks great

3. plus sized? ok, maybe she is taller and fuller: yes- but she is proportionate nonetheless... and beautiful. i swear.

~vi at 11:48AM on Mar 12th 2008

4. Dang! At 180 and plus sized...I'm 5'3" and 185, I must be SUPER SIZED! :O) But no really, she looks great as usual! Do your thang girl!

Toot at 6:40AM on Mar 13th 2008

5. Plus sized does not only mean overweight, it also is tall and large framed.

Laurie at 7:26AM on Mar 13th 2008

6. She looks great, Just stay healthy

Thomas Steele at 7:31AM on Mar 13th 2008

7. Since when is TALL the same as plus-sized? I'm nearly 6' and I don't shop in the plus stores... They don't even have pants that are longer than 34" in most of them... and I actually quit shopping in a store because when I asked about long lengths for pants, the salesgirl said they didn't carry "plus sizes here"... She was rounder than I am!!! People are 'tards... and Toccara looks fantastic and always has.

8. I think she is gorgeous and an inspiration. As a curvy black women I like seeing women with naturals curves being held up as s sign of beauty. I watch what I eat, but am still curvy and want to be that way. If I did not watch I would be 200 pounds.

I work out every day (or try to) with a jump rope, a work out ball and some free weights.

I wear smartsole insoles that I read about on aol that you put in
your sneakers to increase intensity of workout. They are under $30
bucks and tone muscles and are fab-u-lous http://www.smartsole.com

I also have an exercise bike that is small and compact that I bought
at sears http://www.sears.com Sears home brand for simple exercise
bikes are fantastic...cheap and sturdy (like me!)

9. How in the hell does she qualify as a plus size model. Its an insult to those of us who are plus size, and they need to rethink the way they classify that!
she looks like a skinny ass to me...

Insulted in Florida!!

Trudi at 8:18AM on Mar 13th 2008

10. She had lipo through her belly button.....just look at it and you can tell it was done.

She isn't a plus size anymore.

plastic-surgery at 8:53AM on Mar 13th 2008

11. Okay first, John? Go jump off a pier somewhere..I have seen you spouting your bs all over comment boards everywhere.

Secondly, I am a plus sized woman and I only wish I looked that good.

And no, I am not ashamed to admit that.

Kay at 11:11PM on Mar 13th 2008

12. Toccara FLIPS OUT!

13. i think she looks so wonderful now hope jus don't over do it

joe jones at 7:33PM on Mar 16th 2008

14. she looks wonderful

joe jones at 7:41PM on Mar 19th 2008

15. I realize that is't part scripted, but the Toccara I heard on the Rocawear "I will not Lose" commercial, is a Toccara I can get behind. NOt that off the wall, borderline "hoe" she sometimes becomes when she loses her mind. I loved the big Toccara and I believe wholeheartedly there is such a thing as too skinny. the 180lb. Toccara, with bravado and confidence is the model we want to see.
