What's the Status of Your Favorite TV Show?

The writers strike is now entering its third month and you are probably wondering what's the status of your favorite television show.

If you are a fan of the late night talk shows, you're in luck as all your favorites (Leno, Letterman, Conan, etc.) return tonight.

But as for the sitcoms, the number of new episodes are starting to dwindle.

Below is an update on a handful of television shows, including the CW's 'The Game' and 'Girlfriends.' For a complete list, you can check out TV Guide.

Boston Legal: Fourteen episodes will be produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are four left.

Desperate Housewives: Ten episodes will be produced. Nine episodes have aired, so there is one left.

Dirty Sexy Money: Thirteen episodes will be produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are three left.

Girlfriends: Thirteen episodes will be produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are three left.

Heroes: Eleven episodes will be produced. Eleven episodes have aired, so there is zero left.

House: Twelve episodes will be produced. Nine episodes have aired, so there are three left.

The Game: Ten episodes will be produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are zero left.

Ugly Betty: Thirteen episodes will be produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are three left.

2. I know these two shows are not mentioned above and is on cable, but I have got to recommend it. On BETJ, College Hill and the wonderfully entertaining and REAL reality show called "Keshia Cole-The way it is." O'mgod....both of these shows are real black life that will have you laughing, crying, and just plain relating. Especially Keisha's show about her family drama, having been in prison all of her 7 kids' life, Keisha looking for her real dad, and all of them not getting along due to their attitudes...with Keisha in the middle trying to keep the family together. And College Hill showing the real story of life in a college coed dorm. I recommend both shows as top real reality show ffrom the 'black-prespective.'

6. I HOPE THEY KEEP GIRLFRIENDS AND THE GAME ON. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE WILLIAM AND HIS WIFE HAVE A BABY AND TO SEE HOW WILLIAM ACT WHEN THE BABY COMES. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MYA HAVE ANOTHER BABY AND I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL JOAN FINALLY MARRY HER MAN WHEN HE COMES HOME, HE IS COMMING HOME RIGHT?
AS FAR AS THE GAME GOES. IT'S GETTING GOOD. I HOPE MEDSCHOOL AND HER CHEATING ASS MAN GET BACK TOGETHER BUT ONLY AFTER SHE DRAGS HIM THROUGH THE MUD AND MAKE HIM EAT IT TOO, LOL.

8. I wish black people would stop watchhing so much TV and find something more productive to do with their time, like execerise, read a book or learn another langauge. The shows on BET are a joke and there are no Black TV news anchors like Max Robinson, we are not even polled but we continue to watch more TV than any other group, whatever, I guess everthing is alright and some of you thing that you came here on the Mayflower, do something positive in 08!

10. Wow!That's too bad.I LOVE the Game and have been dying to see new episodes.Girlfriends isn't as good as it used to be.We still watch it, so I'm excited to learn that there are a couple of new episodes.Show them already! We've seen the other episodes at least twice, and that's not counting when they replay them on Sundays!

11. The game is the bomb! I would love to see more black love stories being told on the little screen thats not all about sex, and money but everyday problems that happen in our lives instead of us watching all the other cultures have relationship roles heres a show for us! Far as reading, and learning, its nothing wrong with putting a book down and enjoying other forms of entertainment,as long as were not trying to mimic the roles!

13. This is a response to don rx It is very clear that you are a LOSER!!!!!!!!! Only someone that is a loser will put down what someone else chose to do with THEIR time. If YOU read a lot more than you will know that TV is not America's favorite passtime ANYMORE it is the COMPUTER so get a life DORK. By the way I love the Game and I too hope it returns soon!!!!!!!!!!

14. Although Toni's character on Girlfriend's was over the top she obviously brought the hot sauce to the table and I agree the show is now quite mild in it's flavor. The Game does has many plays going for it, I like it because there is serious attention given to relationships. The show has comedy but the people in it aren't shallow, true drama unfolds allowing the audience to experience the reality of situations.
