#11 Black Celebrity Endorser: Serena Williams

Posted Dec 19th 2007 4:40PM by Alexis Stodghill
Filed under: Lifestyle

Jean Baptiste Lacroix, WireImage.com

Serena Williams stays in the spotlight, and keeps the endorsements coming. Her Nike deal alone was worth $40 million dollars to her in 2004. This year, despite many years of amazing endorsement success, our girl Serena was only featured in the 2007 HP laptop campaign, which didn't even feature her head. While this proves that she is still a marketing machine who appeals to the mainstream, this campaign allowed her little creative control or input, so Serena is our number 11.

4. Only numbers 1 and 11 are visible. Something is wrong with this website. You cannot view the number 2 thru 10 endorsers. Can you fix this? It would be interesting to know who they are.

5. Love ya sister girl. Please relax your act and remain professional. Stay healthy and learn from your past. Love seeing you on the court. I would like to see others give you a little more respect in the award world and media. Continue to use your talent and skills to promote yourself. You and Venus sholud be seem a true role models in a mostly white sport, let's give you your do.
