Kelly Pickler Must Have Struggled in 3rd Grade

Posted Dec 5th 2007 12:29PM by Marcus Vanderberg
Filed under: Everybody Hates Marcus

'American Idol' reject Kelly Pickler is really dumb.

And calling her really dumb is an understatement.

Actually, she's a moron.

The blonde, who couldn't sing a lick on 'American Idol' Season 5 but was easy on the eyes, recently made a special appearance on FOX's 'Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?'

But Pickler ran into a roadblock when the questions became slightly more difficult.

Nothing like 3rd grade geography to slow you down.

Who doesn't know that Europe is a continent and NOT a country?

I'm so glad I'm not from the South - she is giving y'all a bad name.

1. Not sure about how she lacks in intelligence, she's yet getting paid! Pickler doesn't really seem to be in a pickle!

Synthia at 7:34PM on Dec 5th 2007

2. It's part of her act. It gets her a lot of attention, and she's making more money than most of us who consider ourselves to be intelligent.

Liza at 12:02AM on Dec 6th 2007

3. I saw her and she may not have been smarter than a 5th grader but there have been many before her with more smarts that flunked out with the first question which most of the time was a first grade question.

Sylvia at 12:07AM on Dec 6th 2007

4. I really wouldn't say too much about anyones intelligence, or lack thereof based on this show. We all knew the answers back when they mattered to us, but a lot of times we just don't retain some of that info because it's really irrelevant to us in every day life. Besides, i'd love to see how far you'd get, Marcus.

Audra at 12:17AM on Dec 6th 2007

5. Chicago girls are the smartest.

natster at 8:27AM on Dec 6th 2007

6. Uh, I'd appreciate it if you didn't base your perceptions of the South on Ms. Pickler. There are quite a few educated Southerners in the world, and besides, I thought we were trying to move away from stereotypes.

MackDiva at 9:32AM on Dec 6th 2007

7. i have to agree. i don't think it's funny when a grown woman doesn't know basic facts. you don't buy an airplane ticket to the whole continent of europe, you buy a ticket to a city in a country, like paris (city), france (country) or rome (city), italy (country). it's weird not to seem to care when you don't know basic stuff like that. maybe she'll learn if she's ever lucky enough to go on tour outside of the US (country).

8. Sherri Shepherd - Co-Host on the View Interview
While talking about religion, Whoopi Goldberg suggests that ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus didn't have Jesus Christ or Christianity.

"They still had Christians back then," Shepherd retorts, claiming that the religion existed 300 years before Jesus Christ was born. "They had Christians and they threw them to the lions," she continues.

"I think this might predate that," Goldberg added.

"I don't think anything predated Christians," Shepherd replied.

In September, during a similar discussion about religious and scientific beliefs, Goldberg asked Shepherd if she thought that the world was flat.

"I don't know," Shepherd answered, adding that if her son asked her whether the world was flat or round, she'd "go look it up."

The World is Flat? U see there's enough to go around!

9. Pickler is acting.."y'all". Albeit bad acting, she is trying, at the insistance of someone who is her manager, using the dumb and dumber routine as if she suffered from brain anoxia....she is not pretty but the formula reads like this:
Bleach blonde+breast implaints+acting like a complete inbred= HOLLYWOOD SUCESS!!!

Well said. Thank you for your refreshingly mature post.

11. I Agree, It's Just Part Of Her Act!

12. i def. think its all apart of her "act".
But even though it is a act... sometimes it is quit amusing. And she doesn't lack in talent, She is a good singer.

Krystal at 10:46AM on Dec 7th 2007

13. ..and she is taking it to the bank. The ability to remember information is not exactly a sign of intelligence...she knew when to "copy"

Melvin at 1:46PM on Dec 7th 2007

14. MARCUS U R JEALOUS OF EVERYONE SUCCESS.U NEED A WOMAN IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!
