Star Jones Reynolds and Al Scales Reynolds

"The fantasy was for every 40-year-old Black woman who was overweight and wanted to get married. That was my fantasy, but the marriage is not. It belongs to us ... We're not a Hollywood couple. We may be a couple that people write about, but there is nothing celebrity about us."

-- Talk show hostess Star Jones Reynolds on her marriage to former investment banker Al Scales Reynolds. (Jet)

1. She needs to put on some weight to fill in those muscles in her neck and those bags under eyes; she looks scaley and she is too skinny. It looks disgusting, everytime she talks, those muscles come out of her neck and she looks like she's stretching her neck. Y'all seen the commercials for her talk show. You can even see it in this picture right by her chin, in her neck. Who is following these two anywawy? I stopped when they made people pay to come to their wedding party, how tacky was that.

2. Star you and that "marriage" are a JOKE - that man you married is as GAY AS THEY COME. So don't get too comfortable.

Caroline at 4:19PM on Sep 1st 2007

3. I can't believe people are still pre-occupied with whether your husband is gay or not and your weight. So what if he is, it is all your business. You are not perpurtrating anything. your business is your business and if you are happy so am I.
Folks, Star is an excellent
tv personality with a lot of knowledge and grit. That is all I care about and I give her props. Again I say "you go gurl"! I'm still following your tv shows because they are interesting and good and that is all I care about.
Everybody makes some mistakes and maybe you shouldn't have done some things with your wedding, hey but the folks evidently didn't care, they did what you asked and attended and had a ball. You are happy...then I am happy. That is what life is about, being happy.

4. I love you Star, but I am sorry he is Gay. I called it with Terry McMillan and I'm calling it here.

MssyLady, just to let you know Star brought out her marriage the moment she solicited vendors on national tv, making it very public. So it is only natural for people to talk about her career and marriage hand in hand.

5. I am sorry but I use to be a real fan of Star Jones she had a very pretty face and yes maybe she did need to lose a few pounds.(honestly though some people are made to be heavy) But this is ridiculous who is she anyway? Was she abducted by aliens?

RoxAnn at 12:20AM on Sep 2nd 2007

6. The way Star lost that weight wasn't right or natural. I wish the old Star would come back. I really miss her.

Gemmie at 12:41AM on Sep 2nd 2007

7. Hey, if she is ok with being married to a gay man so be it!

8. Star Jones, You Go Girl!

You look fantastic!

I saw you on the Larry King Show,
and was very impressed, with how honestly,
you answered his intrusive questions.

You are an inspiration to anyone that
wants to achieve a goal and help themselves
to a brand new life.

I love your show, and I love you.

9. It some mess to me, I mean I do not know if Al is gay. Sure looks like it to me. Does their picures together look stage to me? Yes. Did I lose all respect for her when she had her whole wedding for sale? Yes! what women who wants to be married to man of her dreams do that? Just all smells fake to me. I mean we all struggle to pay for our stuff, and she gets it all for free. She get all upset when ppl talk about her marriage, but she put it all out there when she "sold" her marriage and even when they were dating. It was like she was trying to prove something. She always put herself as someone who did not care what ppl would think about her, She just tried to hard, To fake to me.

Gracie at 1:00PM on Sep 2nd 2007

10. Maybe he will write a book after they divorce, like Terry's Gay Ex did. Enter to Win your Free Swarovski Crystal Tee visit http://executees.net

Natalia at 4:14PM on Sep 2nd 2007

11. NO Star, you are correct. Your marriage is no fantasy. It is a JOKE. You know it snd we do too. I am sure the arrangement you have will come out soon enough. He may even fall in love. financial security may not be enough. If his gender being there keeps you on the I got me a man list. Then so be it. Maybe someday you will find a true man. There is a thing called true. that bi stuff is for freaks.

12. After having lied about having the weight loss surgery i forgot all about Star, i knew she had the surgery when she first loss the weight, because i had one in 1994, when Rosie odonnell stated that Star lied about it. I know she claims she wasn't ready to tell the world but we already knew. I dismissed her then i don't ever want to hear anything else about this woman.

hattie Irving at 1:34PM on Sep 3rd 2007

13. My opinion is that, Star is a "Star". She found her "light" and she lets it shine. She is where she is suppose to be, she looks good and she is a powerful woman. She has the ability to know what she wants and the ability to get it. My prayers are with her, God bless.

Tanya Brown at 2:05PM on Sep 3rd 2007

14. Leave Star alone. People should be free to live their own life without others opinion.
GO GIRL>

Barbara Troy at 7:06PM on Sep 3rd 2007

15. Go Star you beautiful!! you and your goodlooking man!!
