Bert Sugar Breaks Down Taylor-Hopkins II

He's the foremost boxing historian, the face of the boxing media and arguably the greatest sportswriter living today. Bert Sugar has covered boxing for nearly half a century including a stint as publisher of the "Bible of Boxing," Ring Magazine. A regular both at ringside and on the big screen and never without his trademark fedora and unlit cigar, Sugar is a regular contributor to HBO Pay-Per-View. The latest of many honors, Sugar was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in January of 2005.

Bert Sugar's Bottom Line: I see Hopkins making Round 1 into Round 13 and the fight will depend on how Jermain Taylor resopnds. There were several moments in the final five rounds when he didn't respond well. Then again, there were moments where he traded punches with him one-for-one. I see Hopkins trying to overwhelm him in the early rounds, but I see this an even fight.
