In their new reality show, 'Venus & Serena: For Real' (ABC Family), the Williams sisters make it pretty clear that they can't stand training, look forward to parties and awards shows and love being famous. Besides their tremendous tennis careers, Venus and Serena Williams continue to grow their off-court businesses. Venus has her interior design company, V-Starr, Serena has her fashion design company Aneres (which hasn't been getting positive reviews) and now the sisters are coming out with a new book, 'Venus & Serena: Serving From the Hip,' a self-help guide for teenage girls.

"We decided to do the book because we felt we had come such a long way in our lives, from 'the other side of the tracks' to where we are now," Venus told the Sacramento Bee. "We've had lots of ups and downs, on the world stage and in private as well. We felt we had so much to share, not just the good times but the bad times, too."

"We thought about all the rules that we have learned are important to live by," Serena added. "We want to help teenagers set some standards, but at the same time not be too strict about it. We wanted to have fun with it and not act like we're preaching."

In other projects, word is Serena has been meeting with Estée Lauder to possibly launch a cosmetics or fragrance line.

Tim Brown Retires, Launches Kids Internet Browser

Last week Tim Brown signed a one-day contract with the Oakland Raiders to officially retire from playing after a 17-year NFL career. A few days later, Brown announced a partnership with Life Skills Alliance and Children's Education Network (CEN) to launch the "Tim Brown Safe Sports Browser." The browser is designed to protect children on the Internet from inappropriate content using CEN's protection software.

"After being involved as a child advocate for over 20 years, working with Athletes and Entertainers for Kids and 911 for Kids, I am extremely excited to be able to offer a tool free of charge to parents that will help protect children from the perils of the Internet, not to mention the very cool educational features," Brown said in a statement.

Parents can download the browser for free at TimBrownBrowser.com or order a CD by calling 760-233-2863.

Even though Omarion and Marques Houston were the only non-athlete celebs at Antoine Walker and Tim Hardaway's Chicagoland game, the star power of the league itself was represented well. Dwyane Wade, Paul Pierce ,Corey Maggette ,Shawn Marion, Bobby Simmons, Al Harrington and Sam Cassell all showed up to participate. Also in the house were slam dunk champ Josh Smith ,James Posey, Troy Hudson and Nzar Mohammed. The game, which pits the superstars against each other, was like any other all-star game – high-flying dunks and no defense. Regardless, the crowd that showed up at the United Center loved it. The rest of the day's events included performances from Omarion and Houston as well as local acts.

The proceeds from the all-star game went to charities supported by Walker and Hardaway: The Support Group Inc. and the 8 Foundation, which assists at-risk youth in the Chicago area.

David 'Big Papi' Ortiz Designs New Era 59Fifty Cap

Boston Red Sox first baseman David Ortiz has joined the likes of Chris Webber, Spike Lee, The Game, Fat Joe and Roger Clemens by designing his own New Era 59Fifty fitted cap. The cap is satin in the front and black linen in the middle and rear. The hat is a tribute to his mother, his country and his career. The front features a shout to the Boston Red Sox in red embroidery, and his team number "34" in a tonal black, while the front lower left-wear side features an embroidered silhouette of Ortiz in his signature home run celebration stance -- two fingers pointing to heaven. On the right-wear side of the cap you can find the crest of his home country, the Dominican Republic, with "DR" inscribed beneath it. On the rear is a tribute to his mother and on the under-visor is an embroidered replica of Ortiz's signature.

"My fitted [cap] is about who I am, where I come from and what is important to me," Ortiz said in a statement. "It shows my team and my country and then the tribute to my mother is the most important part of the hat -- my mom and I were very close, we had a similar personality... passionate, personal... got along with everyone -- I am like her a lot."

Look for the cap to hit stores next week. It's also available on NewEraCap.com.

At 63 years of age and showing the effects of Parkinson's disease, Muhammad Ali still has some time and love to give to his fans. The champ was at the opening of the Continental Amateur Baseball Association World Series in St. Clair Shores, Mich., an 80-team youth baseball tournament. Ali was there to support his son who is playing for the Niles Vikings in the 14-and-under age group.

Even though VIP ushers tried to keep fans out of the area where Ali was sitting, he beckoned several fans to come over to shake his hand, get autographs and take photos.

"For my generation, he was an icon," Ted Gatzaros, a fan who got to shake hands and take a picture with Ali, told the Macomb Daily. "He's a hero of achievement and a hero of good behavior. Just the fact that he's here shows he's not selfish. It's very emotional."
