It seems as though Tennessee Titan tight end
Ben Troupe has a little more spring in his step than we thought. The second-year player is known for hopping over defenders to avoid tackles, but apparently he's been known to perform a little ballet on the side as well.
Troupe played Mother Ginger in the opening night performance of the Nashville Ballet's 'The Nutcracker.' As Mother Ginger, Troupe comes out in a huge dress and them opens it up to reveal a bunch of dancing children. The funny thing is that Troupe was filling in for another Tennessee Titan,
Erron Kinney who couldn't perform because of an injury. What's up with these Titans?
"I never took any dance or ballet classes and my first time to even see a ballet was the one I was in," Troupe told CBS Sportsline. "I was just a guy who was thrust into a position and tried to do as good a job as I could in the role. Hopefully whoever comes after me will understand that [there are] some big shoes to fill. It's not going to be an easy job."

Go, LeBron! It's Your Birthday!Last week,
Lebron James celebrated his 21st birthday with family, friends, fans and teammates at the House of Blues in downtown Cleveland. For those who didn't get the VIP treatment, cost of entry into the gig ranged from $50 to $300. While rumors of
Oprah,
Jay-Z, and
Usher showing up proved to be just rumors, they did help sell tickets, proceeds from which paid for the entire event.
Lil Wayne did show up to do a couple of songs and lead the crowd in "Happy Birthday." Otherwise there wasn't much celebrity power in the house. Cleveland Browns' superstars
Braylon Edwards,
Reuben Droughns and LeBron's teammates
Donyell Marshall and
Martynas Andriuskevicius were seen mingling in the crowd of 1,000 or more fans.
Throwback Jerseys -- Jesus StyleFor those of you looking for a more spiritual side to your sports habit, Christian Throwback Jerseys are the hottest thing on the market. These jerseys parody real life NBA, NFL and MLB jerseys, but instead of having the team name, a book from the Bible is emblazoned across the front.
A
Carmelo Anthony jersey now has "Genesis" on the front while an
Allen Iverson jersey say "Isaiah." On the Phillies baseball jersey, it reads "Philippians," and an Orioles jersey says "Obadiah."
The children's jersey starts at about $59 while the adults' start around $75. To take a look at the collection, check out

Lamar Odom Jumps Into Hip-Hop BizWhat? You're in the NBA now? It's time to start that record label then. That's what the Lakers'
Lamar Odom did by launching Rich Soil Records earlier this year and by signing underground phenom emcee, and his cousin,
Ali Vegas. Although an album has yet to be set, Odom connected with
DJ On Point to host a mixtape introducing Vegas, called 'Rich Soil Presents: Million Dollar Baby.' You can get a copy for yourself
here.Last week Odom hosted a New Year's Eve party at the
Here Lounge in Los Angeles and has been using Rich Soil as a promotion company as well. Last month, Rich Soil hosted a DVD release party for 'Four Brothers.' Seems like he's finding his fit in that L.A. lifestyle.
