NASCAR is trying its hardest to get people of color in tune with the racing scene. First former Oakland Raiders star
Tim Brown gets his own racing team, and then
LeBron James has his image adorned on a Powerade sponsored car. Now the Wayans brothers are looking to get involved in the sport. Marlon, Keenan and Shawn Wayans have partnered with Star Motorsports to create the Star-Team Wayans car, and plan to race it in the Nextel Cup Series next season.

The Wayans brothers are joining the list of African-American celebrities getting in on the NASCAR boom.
Tommy Lane, one of the few black NASCAR drivers, tops the list of potential Star-Team Wayans drivers. After the first season, the Wayans also plan on having their team race in Cup, Busch and Craftsman Truck Series. There's no word if Damon, whose show 'My Wife and Kids' was cancelled last season, will be getting down and dirty with his brothers.
We can at least guarantee you he isn't filming 'Blankman II.'
Tony Parker Has Eva's BackSan Antonio Spur
Tony Parker is sick of people talking about his woman
Eva Longoria. Some publications in Parker's homeland of France are printing stories painting Eva as a little too "desperate" so Big Tony offered to call his folks in Paris to have the stories stop.
"The French tabloids are regurgitating a bunch of old interviews I gave a long time ago where I said I wouldn't mind dating several guys at once," Eva told PageSix.com. "So now they are printing: 'Eva cheats on Tony!' and Tony is so upset he offered to call the mayor of Paris who knows the tabloid people to try and stop it. He just wants to protect me. He is so great."
How sweet!
Parker is also recording a hip hop album according to Longoria in a recent ESPN Hollywood interview. Longoria said his music is good, but Parker is shy about it because of his French accent.
Parlez-vous crunk?Rodman a Wanted ManDennis Rodman was pulled over in Colorado for speeding and reckless driving while driving in a nationwide rally race over the summer. Rodzilla was ordered to go to court last week but he didn't show up and the judge issued a warrant for his arrest. Apparently, Rodman's sponsor for the race,
GoldenPalace.com said they would pay the tickets and take care of any of the legalities, but they didn't get everything handled in time.
Rodman was allegedly clocked going 98 mph near the mountain town of Frisco. He was accused of paying only half of $40 worth of gas, and jacking a hat from a Glenwood Springs truck stop.

"It was a misunderstanding," Rodman's agent, Darren Prince, told the Associated Press. "The guy was doing all this for charity, and all this happens. He'll do it next year. He'll either drive a little bit slower or not listen to any gas station attendants that say he can have a hat for free and sign some autographs."
Undaunted, Rodman was on hand last week to celebrate the launch of Lingerie Bowl III at the Cabana Club in Hollywood. Rodman will be acting as the league commissioner with lovely ladies Willa Ford, Ryan Starr, Adrianne Curry, Trishelle Cannatella, playing in the event, and Jenny McCarthy and Cindy Margolis hosting. Look for the bowl to air on Sunday Feb. 5, 2006
Oscar De La Hoya Connects With Remy Martin
Last week, golden boy Oscar De La Hoya announced he'll partner with Remy Cointreau USA, the importers for Remy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac. The liquor company, working through De la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, will sponsor Golden Boy promoted fights. They will also work together on the Oscar De la Hoya foundation, which helps urban youth in mentoring and leadership opportunities.
"Remy Martin represents excellence and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Remy Martin team," Oscar said in a statement. "They have stepped it up to succeed as pioneers in their industry. I was proud they've recognized me as a role model for Latinos, boxers, philanthropists and entrepreneurs. I'm looking forward to working with the brand and building faith in the future."
De La Hoya isn't returning to the ring until 2006, so that should give him plenty of time to sample the product.

The control scheme has changed along with retooling Tiger's swing, which he did in real life.
"Gamers and golf fans will notice that the swing plane in my swing is completely different than it used to be," Tiger told Sporting News.
In addition to those changes, there's an all new rivals mode where Tiger can take on golfing legends such as
Arnold Palmer,
Jack Nicklaus, and
Ben Hogan in the prime of their career. Uh, good luck with that!
