Tony Parker Still Living the Rap LifeLast year around All-Star Weekend, we introduced you to
T-Pizzle, the San Antonio Spurs rapping point guard. We're still not sure when the album is coming out, but he has a new video out hoping to get (French?) people excited about it.
Called 'Clip Balance Toi,' the video has Tony Parker spitting all in French, chillin' in a club with all types of honeys (and a little kid?), and, we guess, trying to have fun. It's your stereotypical hip-hop video in a club setting, drinks flowing, people dancing in slow motion and fresh cars. What is cool though, is watching
Eva Longoria play the "video chick" role and Tony later leaving, like, you know, he just met her at the club and is going home with her. View it here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-12GdBEY9AFatherhood Important to MeloAs you've heard by now,
Carmelo Anthony
and
Lala Vasquez had a baby boy last week, naming him Kiyan, the baby weighed in at 5 lbs., 9 oz; 18 inches long. The name, Kiyan, is Melo's middle name and is of Persian origin meaning "little king" or "of kings." But Melo hopes more than anything to give his son what he didn't get coming up.
"(Fatherhood) means a lot. I know what I didn't have and I wanted," he told the Denver Post. "I know what my son is going to get. And I can't wait to give him that."
Carmelo's father, Kirian Iriate, died of cancer when Melo was just 2 years old.
Tiger Destroying His MansionIt seems as though
Tiger Woods
is not so keen on wasted space. He's planning to demolish his 23,000-square-foot mansion on Jupiter Island, Fla. to build a smaller crib. He's going to replace the $48.7 million crib, which has two guest homes, with a home half its size for himself, his wife, Elin Nordegren, and their baby, due this summer. Designers showed him a design for a 13,000-square-foot house but Woods said even that was too big. They have yet to submit plans to the city.
Woods also recently announced that he will host the
AT&T National Golf Tournamentthis summer in Washington D.C. The proceeds from the tournament will go towards opening a Tiger Woods Learning Center in the D.C. area. Woods also said that in honor of the U.S. armed forces, all military personnel and their families will be given free admittance to the tournament.
Shaq Takes on Chubby Kids in Reality ShowWe already announced how
Shaq
teamed up with the "Mighty Milk" folks to promote healthy lifestyles for children, but the Big Fella is taking it a bit further. Big Diesel will star in a new reality show that focuses on childhood obesity and health.
The show will air on ABC over the summer and feature Shaq helping Florida schoolchildren lose weight. The six-episode series will also feature Shaq lobbying politicians on school nutrition and other issues.
The show is inspired by
'Ian Wright's Unfit Kids,' a British reality show that featured Wright, a European soccer star, working out with kids and teaching them to eat right.
Champ Ain't a Chump to Volunteer Work Champ Bailey
recently launched a Denver youth initiative called
Champ's Vitamin Water Volunteers, where Denver youth between the ages of 13 and 23 spend time volunteering at different branches of the
Denver Rescue Mission.
"It means a lot to the people you are going to help -- the people less fortunate than we are -- and giving them an opportunity to have a brighter life," Bailey told CBS 4 in Denver.
Youth groups who participate in the program will be able to chill with Champ at a Colorado Rockies game, win iPod shuffles, T-shirts, sports memorabilia and a whole bunch of free Vitamin Water. Check out

Denzel, Cube Make Laker's Favorite Celeb ListOut of all the NBA teams, the
L.A. Lakers obviously attract the most celebrities. Smack dab in the middle of Hollywood, Lakers games are a bastion for movie and rock stars. So in cooperation with
NBA.com, the Lakers have compiled a list of their Top 10 favorite celebrity fans.
Of course, the number one fan is
Jack Nicholson, but
Denzel Washington,
Ice Cube,
Arsenio Hall and
Andy Garcia all made the list.
"He doesn't say too much," Kobe Bryant told NBA.com about Denzel. "I hear his wife actually is a passionate Lakers fan. She really gets into it, but Denzel kind of sits back and chills and takes it all in."
But Ice Cube says he is far from being laid-back.
"This is my box, so I'm up here hanging out, yelling," said Cube who has his own private suite. "I'm yelling from up here. I'm surprised you don't hear me, but I'm a screamer. I scream at the fans. I scream at the officials. I scream at the players, the coach, whoever's not doing their job. ... I'm screaming at 'em."

MySpace of the WeekSo we were cruising around MySpace the other day and ran into
Randy Moss' page. Dude hasn't logged in since June 6, 2006 (yes, that's 6/6/06), but his page is still kind of funny. He has a couple of blog posts, one of them apologizing for his performance during the 2005-2006 season. What about last season Randy? Then under "Randy's Interests," he disses CBS and says ESPN and ABC are "aite." What's up with that? Check it out at
