After wowing them at the last Democratic Convention, there has been noisy talk of Barack Obama in 2008. Is the U.S. ready for a black president?

In the business of politics since 1978, Hillary Clinton has as many supporters as detractors. Will she in fact become the first woman to become U.S. President?
After two resounding defeats for the presidency, the Democrats undoubtedly have high hopes to retake the White House in 2008. With Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, a woman or an African American could sit in the country's highest seat -- a first for the nation. If the election was held tomorrow, which of these two would come out on top?
