To help kick off their new album 'The Musical,' Nina Sky made a special appearance at New York City's 'Family Day in the Park' for continuing Pride 2006 celebrations Aug. 15. The identical twins are proud Queens natives.

      The Pride season got off to a running start this past June, and is still in full swing. With continuing parades and unique events in cities nationwide, the LGBT community is keeping up with the summer heat. There are plenty of events still left on the calendar, so close your eyes, pick a spot on the map and pack those bags! Whether you end up in the Big Apple for Pride in the City or Oakland, Calif., for Bay Area Black in the Life, you're sure to add some spice to your summer schedule.

      "In the Life Atlanta (ITLA)" is the official coordinator of Atlanta's Annual Labor Day Black Gay Pride Celebration. Over 40,000 people attend. Features a candlelight vigil, the Black Pride marketplace, SpeakFire!: An Erotic Open Mic, workshops, a transgender wellness conference, the See Us in the Life Film Festival, the Living in our Pride Fashion Show and much more.
