Chef Sterling Burpee, now the chief culinary officer at the
Culinary Training Academy and Nevada Partners, Inc. , in Las Vegas used his bourbon-glazed short ribs recipe to dazzle Steve Wynn's taste panel and nab the job as executive chef of the buffet when Wynn's Las Vegas opened in 2005.
