Deemi, nee Tahu Deemi Aponte, may be just starting out in the crowded market of female R&B singers, but she's already been likened to the seminal Mary J. Blige. It's fitting that the 27-year-old mother of two chose John Lennoni's 'Imagine' as her theme song. Despite having a family to raise by the age of 21, Deemi has seen her dreams come true. Her solo debute 'Soundtrack of My Life' is due in stores this summer.
