    In a three person Unscripted interview for Black Voices, actors Glynn Turman and Ella Joyce and director Juney Smith, talk about their film, 'City Teacher.' The story revolves around a white, Jewish teacher, raised by black parents, who goes to an inner-city school to teach.

  • 'Found Sounds Bahia'

    Director David Zucker spent years following a group of young people in the state of Bahia in Brazil. In lieu of actual instruments, the youth began playing music on whatever they could find or fashion, hence the film's title, 'Found Sounds Bahia.'

  • 'My Nappy ROOTS'

    Directors Regina Kimbell and Jay Bluemke interviewed a host of celebs including Elise Neal, Patti LaBelle and Vivica A. Fox, for this look at black hair and issues around it. The film was awarded the Festival Choice Award for Best Documentary.

  • 'Quilombo Country'

    Quilombos were the communities created by slaves who escaped the harrowing slave camps in Brazil. This film, 'Quilombo Country,' made by director/producer Leonard Abrams and narrated by Chuck D, looks at some of those communities that have survived to the present day.

  • 'Afrikan World Masters'
