Wyclef Jean feels the chances of a reunion for The Fugees are pretty slim right now. The rapper/producer is so frustrated with communicating with fellow group members Pras Michel and Lauryn Hill that he's contemplating putting together a copycat group. "The Fugees are giving me such a hard time that I'm trying to form another group with me, Akon and another girl," Jean told Melissa Rivers on 'Joan & Melissa live at The Grammy's.'

I heard an unconfirmed rumor that former '106 & Park' host Free could be relocating to New York City to host a show on the hip-hop station Hot 97. After '106 & Park' Free moved to Los Angeles to host an afternoon show on urban station 100.3 The Beat, but quit less than six months after making her debut once the show switched its format to Urban Adult Contemporary. The vee-jay/radio talent, who has been talking about releasing a rap record since her '106 & Park' debut, also just signed on to be a co-moderator of the 'Get Your Money Right' financial empowerment national tour sponsored by the Hip Hop Summit Action Network.

Speaking of radio news, word also has it that R&B crooner Keith Sweat has just inked a deal with Clear Channel to host his own nationally syndicated evening radio show. The 'Quiet Storm' show will give fellow R&B singer Al B. Sure, who has a nationally syndicated evening show through ABC Radio Networks, some new competition. The one-year deal will allow Sweat to do his show from Atlanta.

McDonald's will kick off its 'Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour' featuring three of gospel's finest artists, Smokie Norful, Vanessa Belle Armstrong and Kierra "KiKi" Sheard. The tour will launch on Feb. 28, in Dallas and end on April 1, in Detroit. For details on the 'Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour' visit www.SmokieNorful.com.

CBS Sports' James Brown-not to be confused with the not-yet-buried 'Godfather of Soul'-will guest co-anchor the 'Saturday Early Show' for two weeks starting this month. Brown, who previously covered football for Fox and hosted the nationally syndicated 'America's Black Forum,' will also return to guest anchor again in April. CBS's 'Saturday Early Show' is seeking a permanent replacement for Russ Mitchell.

Can't Say Names...

A certain veteran R&B crooner is bragging to friends about his recent hookup with a popular television star more than half his age. The aging soul singer had a short fling with the actress, but I'm told the sassy sitcom star dumped him for "being bitter, angry and stuck in the past."
