    11/16/09: 50 Cent
It appears 50 Cent and his former flame Vivica A. Fox are rekindling their romance -- well, at least on the set for his upcoming video 'Do You Think About Me.' The sultry 45-year-old actress makes a cameo in the clip which details the ups and downs about relationships, according to 50. "I believe people invest in each other and it's never even when you're in a relationship," the 32-year-old thug rap icon told 'MTV News' of the song's concept. "One person is loving harder than the other. When the expectations aren't being met, they kinda resent the other party." The song is featured on 50's new album 'Before I Self Destruct,' which is in stores now.

    11/12/09: Darius Rucker
Hootie & the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker has solidified himself – again – as a force to be reckoned with in country music. At the 2009 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, the Charleston native picked up the award for Best New Artist – making him the first black person to ever win the honor. In 1971 and 1972, country music pioneer Charley Pride made history by taking home awards for 'Entertainer of the Year' and 'Male Vocalist of the Year,' respectively. No other African American has won in those categories since. Rucker made headlines last year when his country music opus, 'Learn to Live' debuted at the top of the country music charts. The critically acclaimed project has now sold over 1 million copies.

    11/6/09: Kanye West
While it seems Kanye West may have drifted off into a self-imposed exile, the rapper's close friends are reporting he is staying proactive. "Kanye's taking a bit of time away from the limelight. But he keeps telling me all these ideas he has for songs and fashion bits," DJ A-Trak told British newspaper the Daily Star. As for what type of sound the fans can expect on West's forthcoming effort, his protégé Mr. Hudson explained it will be a "old-school" hip hop record. "He might make an old-school record on a tape deck, like the Beastie Boys used to do," Hudson told the paper. "Just a drum machine, ghetto blaster and a microphone."
