It was coming all along. There are many whites who still believe that everything is defined by the color or your skin. Yes, there is not one pure bread American in this country. So race relations as it is practices in this country should have been done away with long ago.

With the nomination of Senator Barrack Obama as the Democratic nominee for president of the United States the flames of race for many of our citizens has been ignited. In a survey conducted by the National Association of Black Journalists of news managers at the 61 network-owned television stations found a lack of African Americans and other minority groups were tremendously under represented and with prectically no diversity in the uppermost tier. At a time when America is searching for new leadership and the first ever African American Presidential Candidate and on that same day when THE GREATEST CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER IN THIS NATIONS HISTORY, DR MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. MADE HIS FAMOUS,"I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH." the follow up coverage was dwarf by WHITE AMERICA... BECAUSE THE WHITE DOMINATED NEWS MEDIA EXECS DECIDE WHAT STORY TO PUSH!!! WOULD YOU DARE BELIEVE THEY FOUND IT NECESSARY TO PROMOTE THE GOP'S NOMINATION OF A UNKNOW WHITE WOMAN AS A GREATER STORY THAN THE HISTORY MADE AT THE DE

Will Democratic Party Write off Black Vote in 2008?

If the Democrats have no clear winner by their convention, they have the option to write off a minority voter group. However, throwing Senator Barack Obama out might signal to African American voters that their mainstream legitimacy is an illusion in the eyes of the Democratic Party leadership. This action may force Black Americans to seriously consider voting for a Republican candidate for the first time in roughly a half century.
