New York and Flava Flav embody all that is wrong with the African-American community. Sure, we laugh at their antics and dismiss them as useless minstrel shows and baffoons but the reality is...'other' people watch as well. I think we have to be very careful about who we uplift. The future is too important for us, Barack is proving that. We definitely need to make sure we DON'T give credit or props to those that perpetuate negativity.

What has New York and Flavor Flav got to do with the future of us as Black people other than to add a negative side to the great celebration of Blach History , HOW NOT TO SELL YOUR SOUL FOR A FEW MOMENTS OF FAME !!
