Spring is a time of freedom. It’s about looking good and having fun, especially with this season’s hair styles getting looser and more textured. Ready to get busy with a new ’do? Here’s what’s hot for warm weather.

Short Cuts
They are a hit with the summer heat, but don't fuss with your curling irons. Use a texturizing pomade to spike the hair. A favorite of mine is Sumo Wax by Bumble & Bumble. This is the best look for hot days that can wear you down. You might be burning up, but your hair will look great!

Long Hair
You can do so much with lengthy locks. Whether it is relaxed or natural, try double-strand twisting the hair to achieve texture. Use Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding or Miss Jessie's Buttercreme for maximum effect. Play around with updo styles during days when you want to feel a summer breeze on your neck.

Natural Hair
Let it go free. If you have long, curly hair, you can twist the hair in single coils with Miss Jessies Butter Cream. Allow it to dry and use a little sheen like Laminates by Sebastian Shine Drops. For short natural cuts, use Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding. Shampoo the hair and condition. Section it from the back to the front, applying the pudding on each section. Allow the hair to dry. Your coils will look soft and defined without the frizz.
